- 5 out of 5 stars review5/9/2024I’ve only had these tires a short time but I am totally impressed. They are a quiet riding tire yet in a down pour I could tell they stuck to the pavement while driving through puddles of water. I’m looking forward to see how they perform come winter and the snow. Great product so far.
Great Product
BillOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/21/2024So I drive for a living as a courier and purchase tires every couple of years. This is my third set of CrossClimate's and the grip and handling is such a huge upgrade from the stock tires that come on the vehicles. It's always a little stark because as tires get to the end of their life, you feel them lose their grip in wet and dry situations, but they roll very easy which leads to the best mileage you'll ever get in a vehicle. When swapping to these you instantly notice the grip on turns, how straight the car stays even when tires slightly spin in the rain, and the significantly shorter stopping distance. I typically drop about 4-5 mph in small sedans upon initial switching, but the safety advantages make driving so much easier on my m...
Excellent upgrade after replacing the tires that came on my Jetta
BillyKeyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/3/2020I bought these tires in September, 2020. The tread pattern had me intrigued but unsure. Winter control conventionally comes from a deep tread, soft rubber compound, and lots of sipes. The croosclimate2 does not look like that but it has proven itself so far. The tire resisted hydroplaning during the fall rains and does not show the usual resistance when going through puddles at highway speeds. So far, December, we have had very little snow, 3", but it handled it very well. The freezing rain and ice have been an issue this year and these tires have out-performed my Michelin defenders. I realize that the two are not in the same performance class but I have always had great service from the Defenders, T&H. Crossclimates are an exce...
Worth the money?
MetalmanOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/9/2020I bought these tires about 3000km ago and have been driving mainly in summer conditions. We recently got some wet slushy snow with ice conditions. Performance in both was impressive. Summer was a smooth and quiet ride. Great handling. For the snowy and slushy conditions, they had no problem handling the slush and snow. I tried to spin out, drove through a couple of snowbanks, and went up some pretty steep inclines, but they really handled well. No loss of traction and solid performance.
Great handling and performance
mynameisOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/17/2022I purchased the CrossClimat SUV,s for my Tesla Model X and was blown away at how awesome the tires performed in a snow storm last Spring. My wife purchased a Tesla model S and noticed she didn't have the same surefooted feeling that she had with my Model X in the snow. Last month I decided to buy the CrossClimate 2's for the Model S and could hardly believe how much better they are than my tires. By better I mean they are much quieter than the CrossClimate SUV,s and they feel like they roll with less effort as well. I like these tires so much I'm going to change from having wider tires and wheels on the rear to the same size as the front so that I can run the CrossClimate 2,s on my Model X as well.
Amazing all season tires
Bdawg25Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/30/2025These tires are awesome they look great and unbelievable quieter than the Ironman tires that was on our vehicle also when it rains it doesn’t make a difference the road still seems dry the car doesn’t pull or anything when you hit a water hole best tires I have ever owned thanks
Cross Climate 2
Tom63Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/14/2025I did research to find the best tire for our RAV4. This tire ticked all the boxes starting with wet braking and hydroplaning. Good noise level, comfort and bonus the are snowflake All Season rated if we happen to get caught off guard before we have our snow tires on. Very happy.
vgreat Tire!
John.Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/28/2021I bought a set of these tires for my Subaru Outback 3 months ago. I've driven just over 8500km on them so far, just had them measured at the garage the other day, no wear so far on the front, and the rear are only down 1/32". I hear the wet tire ruts before I feel them, these tires push the water away so well. They are very quiet and smooth driving in dry and wet conditions too!! I'm definitely sold on these and will be getting them again when I need a new set.
Incredible traction in the heaviest rains!!
Coaster_StrathOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/30/2021Bought these in the fall for my 2018 Honda Odyssey. Night and day compared to the original Bridgestones. Excellent manners on the highway in both wet and dry and amazing traction in the snow. These were priced higher than the competition but well worth the money so far especially when you consider the expected treadlife. Great job designing these tires Michelin!
Great tire in the wet and snow
2018OdysseyTouringOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/20/2024After much research, The Cross Climate 2 was my choice. Extreme control and traction in the snow, slush, rain and on summer days from one tire, well four tires. lol 2007 Ford Mustang GT. Highly recommend you get these tires for your safety and everyone elses. Suprise snow storm? No problem. Torrential rain? Thunderstorm? No problem. Casual or Spirited Drivng? No problem. Get these tires! And yes, they ride quiet.
The Best ALL-IN-ONE TIRE!
SpeedRacerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/1/2025I have purchased these tires for a variety of different sedan and mini van vehicles, and they are perfect all-season tires for those living in the Midwest. We get a fair amount of snow in winter and rain in spring / fall, and these tires perform well in those conditions. The added bonus if they are not loud when driving 60+ mph on the freeway, and they help me maintain a decent MPG rating when driving in the city + freeway. Overall, I am happy that I purchased these in the past and I am planning to continue purchasing them in the future.
Great set of tires!
wheredoIneedtodriveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/19/2022Purchased in Sept 2021. Very nice ride for 2019 Forester. Tires have howling noise at 25-35 mph then noise goes away with deeper tread noise. Dealer insists it is tires and not car. Overall very happy except for the around town howling noise. Have same tires on another 2015 Forester and noise is barely audible.
Nice Tire Some Noise
KenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/8/2021An excellent all-season or winter changeup tire for almost any application where rain, ice, and moderate snow are factors (a legitimate 'snowflake', 3PMSF) while maintaining confidence at high speeds, and enhancing certain performance characteristics such as cornering and braking. I just ordered the CrossClimate2 to replace a pair of CrossClimate+ on my [FWD] Mazda, not needing to consider another tire, as I recently chose a set of CrossClimate2 on my [AWD] Lexus IS for the new winter set and I could not be happier with them. You do need to be attentive and work them in properly during the break-in period, as they can be a little loose during that break-in. If you do break them in properly you will have a better chance of being a satisfied ...
One of the best tires I've had on multiple vehicles!
kahdriverOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/13/2021I got these tires in spring of 2021. I commute and put 25,000 miles on a year. Great ride, low noise on highway. First snow was yesterday so got to see how they do. Very good! They are on a 2017 fusion front wheel drive. If they pass North Dakota weather, they’re good for any one reading this. I didn’t see a drop in mileage like so note. And commuting that matters to me.buy them!
North Dakota winter
ND SteveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/14/2022My husband bought the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires because the salesman told him how many good reviews they had gotten from his customers. Boy was he right! I drove home in the pouring rain one night last week, and the car just drove right through the puddles on the road with no resistance! Wow! I give these tires an AAA+
Smooth riding tires and great performance in the rain!
Cego GreensOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/1/2024Much better than expected.  Really good in the deep wet snow.  Excellent in wet.  Also good on dry, in fact very good. I run studded Michelin North 4 in winter for our brutal climate (calgary) but I had to leave them on late into the spring as we get late snow and my summers were performance summers and you dont dare go on any snow what so ever.  Three sets is too much for 90 percent of drivers but this saves my studs for the dec / jan feb when I need then.  In fact they are so good on dry that when my performance summers wear out i'll just use these. in my size.  225/40/18   the Cross climate 2 are 90 percent of my pilot sports  The compromise for winter was not as much as I was expecting and the same for summer ,  They are a tiny bit n...
Very impressed
Steve 21Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/20/2021I bought these since I was looking for an all season tire with the 3PMSF on it. In my review, this topped the charts on Tire Rack and Consumer Reports, so I bought these, not knowing what to expect. Next thing I knew, my car feels completely different to drive than it did before. It’s more composed, on-center feel is more noticeable and the ride is wicked quiet!
Blew Me Right Out off the Water!
NissanDude26Originally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareAwesome, NissanDude26! Thanks for sharing the love! - 5 out of 5 stars review12/23/2022Just replaced long lasting Michelin X-ice with CrossClimate2 and these are fantastic tires. Handled 6" of snow with ease and no sideways sliding see with other tire designs. Braking performance is exceptional in snow and wet. See other reviewers whining about MPG decrease but it's minimalin my experience for what tire has to offer. Tire is extremely quiet considering aggressive tread pattern which is impressive. Another great tire from Michelin and highly recommend if live in snowy climate.
Great traction!
DnixOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/11/2021We purchased a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 with run-flat tires. I was going to need snow tires plus a set of all season tires plus a set of wheels since I don’t like run-flats and wanted to replace them. My service tech advised me to go for the CrossClimate2 and I am so glad I did. They handle very well in all conditions and saved me a pile of cash. They are a little noisier than all season tires but well worth that slight compromise. They were installed in Oct, 2020.
Great Compromise For All Seasons
Terry2020Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/4/2025I have these tires on my Audi A4, have about 35k miles on them. Living in Colorado in the mountains I have been very impressed. These tires stick like glue. Best part is you can use them year round, no changing to snow tires. Only complaint I have is I did lose a couple of mpg with them. Even so the security of them makes up for it. I just purchased a set for my 2023 Kia K5.
Excvellent Traction
