Best everyday on road and off road tire!

I am happy to say that these tires have been incredible in every way! I used to roll on CT Extreme Contact tires for years and I am now very happy to have switched. The traction is awesome both on road and off road. The performance in the rain has also given me a greater confidence that my SUV won’t spin out. I recommend this tire to everyone who enjoys both on road and off road driving.

Michelin Cross Climate

Good handling but hate them as were told these were quiet tires and they are soooo noisy it drives us crazy. Would never buy these again and stuck with expensive tires. Pretty bad when you can’t stand to drive our Toyota Rav 4 because of the noisy tires.

    2 NEW 2 COMMENT & RATE

Bought 4 of them in feb.2022. Find them a bit noisy and even though wasn't much snow but noticed going thru snow twice the suv steers to the right a bit ... concerned for the next winter, always have purchased my second tires @ Michelin HOPE THEY STAND UP FOR THEIR QUALITY.

    Excellent Tire

Purchased the CrossClimate2 tires for my 2020 Subaru Ascent four months ago. A big improvement over the tires that came with the car. They are less noisy and handle better. I haven’t driven them on snow or ice, but I expect that they will perform well in those conditions.

Great tires. Wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I bought these two months ago and have a couple thousand miles on them. They are far superior to the OEM Pirellis as you don't feel every bump in the road and are much quieter. In addition, the traction has been excellent on wet and dry pavement. Initially, I looked at these, and another brand, and the retailer told me to get these "hands down." He was 100% correct.

Love the feel of the ride.

Love the feel of the ride. Haven’t had them long enough to know how they do in bad weather. I was somewhat hesitant to buy them because the set of Michelins that came on my car only lasted 36,000 miles. These tires have a longer warranty. I don’t know if new cars come with a lower quality tire or not. A friend of mine had to replace his Michelin tires at 39,000 miles. Hoping for the best!

    Bring on the Snow!

I bought 4 CrossClimate2 tires for my 2017 Pacifica. I’m thrilled with how well these tires are handling snow and ice. I have more control of the vehicle and I can negotiate an icy, snow-packed road on an incline with no trouble. The installer mentioned one potential down side - these tires can only be rotated front to back, not all 4 positions. I don’t care a bit- the all weather properties are what I need driving around Northern IL. City streets to rural roads, I’m completely satisfied with the tire performance. Compared to the stock tires that came on my new Pacifica, which had about 50k miles, these tires shine in every category of performance. The tracks from my new tires are also attractive and distinct- it looks like herringbo...

Replaced the Factory Supplied OEM tires with these

Our new vehicle came with Toyo A36 OEM tires. However having the vehicle delivered in December, we switched tires and rims for Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV tires. During that winter I read various unfavourable reviews of the Toyo A36 tires. I also read very favourable reviews of the Michelin CrossClimate2 four season tires. When it came time to change out our winter tires for all season tires, we had the brand new Toyo's removed from the aluminum rims and had the CrossClimate2 tires installed. The CrossClimate2 tires have a very aggressive tread. I jokingly call them 'tractor tires'. However these ride extremely well, quiet and comfortable, eliminating most road imperfections. These are great in rain and slippery road conditions, hugging the pav...

    So so all weather tires

Purchased tires in January 2022- 45,000 kms on them. Traction is good on wet & dry roads. I find them noisy compared to all season tires- my expectations may not be realistic. Mounted on 19" aluminum Honda OEM rims- continually leak air in all seasons- maybe rims are at fault. Nevertheless will swap out to a smaller rim and tire with all season capability

    Great Product

I’ve only had these tires a short time but I am totally impressed. They are a quiet riding tire yet in a down pour I could tell they stuck to the pavement while driving through puddles of water. I’m looking forward to see how they perform come winter and the snow. Great product so far.

    AMAZING Performance in Snow/Rain!

Purchased a set of CrossClimate 2 tires in September of 2022 for my 2012 Volvo XC90 to replace a set of worn Michelin Defenders which were great tires lasting 65,000 miles. My XC90 has 208,000 miles. 1 year and 40,000 miles later, the tires are at 7/32 with even wear. I perform rotations and balancing (if needed) every 5,000 miles. These tires have been AMAZING. They are quiet, provide amazing performance, and are wearing very well. I live in Minnesota and travel to Salt Lake City/Park City frequently. These tires are almost as good in the snow/ice as the Blizzaks I have on my 2017 Volvo XC90 in the cold months. Last winter was brutal, so drove many miles through a lot of snow/ice/slush/rain and had absolutely zero problems. They are ...

    Good All Round Performer

I replaced the OEM all seasons on my new 2024 Taos with a set of CrossClimate 2s. I CC2s on my previous Tiguan and they performed well summer and winter. I ran them for a year and a half until I traded the vehicle. Living in an apartment, the all weather tires make sense -- no storage issues and no seasonal swaps.

CrossClimate2 tires on all my cars

I just bought another set of Michelin CrossClimate2 tires for my college-age son's car. I have these on all my vehicles (4 total) and love them. In Texas, we don't get that much snow but when we get water, we get a lot of it - and the CrossClimate2 tires are fantastic in we conditions!

Great Versatility at a Great Price

I researched and selected these tires for my daughter. She wanted to spend her money wisely. She does a lot of highway driving taking her daughter to basketball games all over Ontario and the neighbouring US states, on highways and back roads and wanted a tire that was safe for all weather situations. The Cross Climate has performed exceptionally well under snowy and rainy conditions. They have stood up well with very little wear showing and provided a comfortable ride with excellent handling. As her father, I am very happy with my suggestion!

    So far so good

I bought these about a month ago after experiencing hydroplaning on the highway on the original tires. As luck would have I experienced a similar rainstorm after having the new tires mounted. They seemed to preform much better. Of course the old tires were worn. The CrossClimate 2s were much quieter than expected given the aggressive tread pattern. The true test will come once snow is on the ground. I'm a skier and looking for better winter traction without the need to swap tires out twice a year.

    Excellent treadwear after 8 months

Since buying this tire almost 9 months ago, I have been very pleased with its overall performance in Winter and Summer driving. I have however noticed that there is a distinguishable noise level which I had not experienced before with other Michelin tires. It is obvious between 40 to 100 km/hr on the highway and the most noisy around 60 km/hr.

    Poor snow handling

Bought a few weeks ago based on recommendations for winter weather handling. Last 4 inch snow, temperatures around 0F where roads tend to not be as slick - sliding on a low speed curve. Kicked sideways by 6-8 inch drifts elsewhere. I’d rate winter traction as poor.

    2017 Chevy Volt

Just put a set of 4, 215/50R17/XL 95V, on last week. Driven less then a 100 mile so far. The volt had the OE on for just under 55,000 and one had a slow leak. Got the CrossClimate®2 and right from the parking lot I noticed the the tires gave the car a tighter grip on the road, bumps seamed to be less noticeable. The tires do not roll as well as the OE and a little more tire noise, like a whine. With no engine noise to cover it up, it was expected. The car handles the hills and curves very well. My wife feel more assured that car is not going off the road and will take the curves. Had to add more air and that made the Volt cost better also did not notice any change in the handling.

Excellent wet road handling and dry road comfort

Bought these last fall for my 2017 XT5. The tires perform well in all conditions, very quiet under all highway conditions, concrete and asphalt. Looking for a second set for another of my cars. I rotate every 10k miles, the first rotation highlighted no noticeable wear pattern. Way to go Michelin…….

    Amazing performance upgrade

I'm so happy I bought these tires! I didn't need new tires, but I wanted better snow tires as I had several winter trips planned. The improvement on both dry and wet pavement was remarkable. On dry pavement the car seems to perform twice as well, especially around corners. In rain and snow, braking is better and the car feels more in control. Fuel mileage is about the same, if not better.

    Awful choice.

First off I’m a huge Michelin fan until now. Everyone raved about these so I plopped down a weeks take home and had them installed on my rogue. Huge mistake! I had primacy’s and absolutely loved them but these are horrendous. They ride like they’re filled with concrete, dropped highway mpg from 31 to 27 and produce a noticeable hum. To make matters worse, the vibrate @80 mph and all the balancing and alignment checks in the world can’t get rid of it. I bought an extra set of factory rims and had a competitors tire installed, which was almost 59% less and the vibration is gone. Bad tires! They do wear like iron is the only good thing I can say. I use these now for a winter tire and hope we don’t get snow so I don’t have to swap wheels out....
