Disappointed. By the time got home 15 mins after purchasing, it was already melting and oozed caramel goo all over the trunk of the car; not a hot day at all, so no reason for meltdown. Then realized it didn't have real strawberries on top, just dollops of fake strawberry gel. Haven't tasted yet so can't attest to that, but definitely not worth the price paid.

The cake was decorated very nicely. I purchased it Christmas eve for Christmas birthday. However, when we cut into the cake it was way too moist and wet. If you are planning to eat it right away I think it is okay. I guess I should had known a sponge cake it like a sponge. I was very disappointed. We each had a small piece and the rest went into the garbage. I think it would be very helpful if Sam's Club would put a label advising customers this is not a cake to store overnight. Yes, we refrigerated it too. Also the white topping was tasteless. No flavor at all.

I love the decoration but when you have a bite of this salad cake that is when the flavors don’t go together. I love chocolate it never in a kind of cake like this Simple does not fit in it then it will leave a bad taste in your mouth like my gramma old fashion medicine. I trashed it!! I don’t know who would eat something like this.

We did NOT like this cake. Between four of us no one liked it. There was a strawberry jam on top, not actual strawberries like shown in the photo which was fine because we purchased in store and knew what we were getting. If you order online be prepared for the cake to have jam in place of actual berries. The cake itself did not have much flavor and was extremely wet. It was just an odd cake. I wouldn't buy it again.

I've gotten this a couple times from the store and it was always good. This time we did delivery and the cake was one day from expiration. It was soggy on the bottom and the toppings were sliding off. Shouldn't have even been available in store for purchase let alone delivery. Disappointed in the quality.
