I bought this cake for my birthday during Covid. It was SO good. from the chocolate and strawberries on top, the whipped topping, nuts, to the inside filling. It was actually light and tasty. The only thing I did not like is some of the shells were mixed into the nuts. Not so great to eat. However, it was still SO good.

There have been some changes to this cake, in my opinion not changes to the better. The dark chocolate shards and strawberries that once decorated the rim are gone. There also seems to be less of the strawberry filling, enough so that it just doesn't have much taste. It remains supremely moist, but unfortunately that's about all that commends the product.

I had ordered this cake for a wedding party three years ago and I have carved it and raved about it for those three years but never had enough people invited to serve such a large cake. I bought it for this Easter and was greatly disappointed!!!! The strawberries were already showing their age and the inside was doughy. I was disappointed and embarrassed by my choice.

It was missing chocolate accents and strawberries. When I asked the associate about it she said it doesn’t come with it, I showed her the picture and she said they don’t have strawberries, I went back to the bakery and had them add strawberries. Very misleading to show that picture and pick up a cake with nothing on the top of it, it also melted and sagged before I even reached home, and staff and management were extremely rude

This is pretty good with a few flaws. The nuts are unnecessary and take away from what makes a tres leches special. Some of them got kind of soft in all of the liquid and so it was like having chewy gummy nuts in the cake and then the ones that didn't felt a little like rocks in a soft dessert. The other problem is that the strawberries on top are placed too close to the edges. This is a soft, milk soaked cake. So by the time this cake made it to its destination, they had all slid off the top and down the sides. It would be better if they were sliced and layered across the top.

I fell in love the first time I had a taste of this cake at my friend's birthday. I was waiting for a special occasion of my own to celebrate by treating myself and loved ones to this beauty. After some weeks, I made an order for two to celebrate my sister visiting with her family from out of the country, and it was even better than I remembered!!! This is by far my favorite desert and I am in love!!

This tres leches cake is seriously delicious!! I always go to sams club for my tres leches cakes. They’re moist, not too sweet and very tasty! I would normally go to a Mexican panadería for my tres leches cakes, but it’s always a hit or miss for me and it’s double/triple the price! Completely recommend sams club!

Round tres leche cake with strawberry filling, pecan sides, and caramel drizzle on top, ABSOLUTELY best cake I've tried at Sams. Beautiful presentation, whipped cream is light, not too heavy, the cake is absolutely fantastic, definitely get it and a slice for me too

Bought this cake for Sweet Sixteen birthday party. Cake was moist and delicious. Strawberries were sweet and pretty. I added fresh roses for decoration. Not sure why they add nuts around sides of cake. Nuts were a little dry and didn’t add to the flavor of cake. I would recommend this cake.

I picked up the best looking cake because the rest were collapsing into themselves. The fillimg was bulgint out all aroind the middle of the cake, and the strawberries were sliding off. By the time I got home, mind you I had a 5 min drive, my cake was falling apart as well. That being said the taste was decent.
