I would give 5 stars if it had the same dry condition handling performance as the previous PA4. A winter performance tire should not be losing performance in its latest iteration.

I would not recommend. I had a set on my Porsche and the rears lasted me only 15,300 kms, so durability is a serious issue. Will not be purchasing again. I've trusted Michelin for years but this is just unacceptable.

I've been extremely happy with these tires, compared to the all season tires from the factory these are similar or lower noise, significant improvement in ride comfort. The very slight amount of traction given up in dry and wet is easily made up for in the snow. Tires traction in wet and snow is predictable and made it easy to navigate close to a foot of snow. Would not hesitate to purchase these tires again.

Purchased a set of Pilot Alpine A5s for winter driving on a Macan a Turbo in Pac NW 4-years ago. Ended up not changing the wheels out because they performed so well in the rain ( and snow). 4-years an 30k+ miles later I’m coming back for another set. Great performance SUV tire.

I purchased the pilot alpin 5 winter tires in November 2020 Was very satisfied with performance and the look of the tires.

The one negative is road noise on some types of pavement. Other than that... a superb tire: ride, traction, wear, handling.
