[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The benefits of LED light bulbs over incandescent light bulbs are obvious, and the GE Lighting Company provides a range that is competitive when it comes to both quality and pricing. I recently came into the possession of a 2-pack of their LED soft white bulbs which are 60w replacements. This simply means that the bulb is able to produce as much light as a 60 watt incandescent light bulb and really has nothing to do with the wattage. I have tried both of my GE light bulbs in table lamps and I am very pleased with the results. Of course, it goes without saying that the prospect of them lasting many years thus cutting expenditure is a very attractive prospect indeed. A time period of 13 years is estimated based on a three hour per day usage time period. An added advantage of this particular light bulb is the fact it is dimmable, a feature I really like because the brightness is 1800 lumens and I don't always want it to be that bright. These times call for a mercury-free product that frees you from any concerns when using it indoors, and ensures that easy disposal is possible. The GE LED light bulb fits these criteria. I would highly recommend this product on all levels, and look forward to many years of use.

I installed them in a floor lamp, the whole family loves the warm, inviting light that the light bulbs provide. I am amazed about the life expectancy of these light bulbs, 13.7 years, and it will save me money over the years, since the estimated yearly energy cost for these bulbs is only $1.20. I like the fact, that the light bulbs are dimmable, an extra bonus.

GE has always been my favorite light bulb brand, as I believe it is a bit longer lasting and a better quality product overall. I get a variety of the soft white for my lighting needs including 40, 60, and 100 watt. The soft white is not harsh like some of the other options, and because I get bad headaches, it’s a smart choice for me.

GE makes a good product. These bulbs light up bright right away. They don’t take a while to get up to full brightness like some others. I will definitely be buying these again.

Right now I am using a bulb in a table lamp, it gives off about the same amount of light as a 60 watt incandescent. It is supposed to last 13 years, based on 3 hours use per day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 2 pack of LED dimmable bulbs so we could have softer light to read by and watch tv so there wouldn't be a glare, I can tell you, that it was a great choice, you can dim these bulbs to whatever brightness you want or need, If you're reading, turn the dimmer switch up a little brighter and for watching tv, then turn it down some. Plus, it says it will save on my electric bill, well I am all for saving money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my light bulbs in my lamps with these GE® LED 60-Watt Light Bulb in Soft White and I love the lighting. My old bulbs were too bright and these are excellent! I love that they are dimmable AND they last 13 years! The have a soft, warm glow to them. I will have to get more to replace all my other bulbs in my house. Since they are dimmable, my daughter loves hers in her bedroom lamp because she can have it not as bright. They are intended for indoor use in lamps and fixtures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the GE LED Bulbs to try in my bathroom fixtures. I replaced my old bulbs that had gotten somewhat dim and these are so nice. I love the color they put off and they are just the perfect brightness. The bulbs are really nice looking.Then there is the fact it will save money on your energy bill and it lasts 13 years, so it will save money on replacement bulbs. The bulb seems smaller than others but the amount of light it puts out seems more to me. My husband and other people have noticed the brightness as well. I just love how clean and petite it looks in the fixture. I have no complaints at all and I would for sure buy again and recommend to everyone.
