DO NOT PURCHASE! PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A WASTE OF TIME. FOOT LEVER NOT WORKING. CSR SUGGESTED TO BUY A NEW PART. BUT, WOULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT REPLACEMENT WOULD FIX PROBLEM AND WOULD NOT REFUND COST IF PROBLEM NOT FIXED.

I brought this item back in Nov 2023 clean with stainless steel cleaner and pull trash out often but did not stop the rust and finger prints not worth the money.

This trash can looks nice but unfortunately failed to deliver it's capability. Within a few months of having bought it, the step pedal stopped working because the plastic bottom of the can snapped. Very disappointed!

Just came in completely dented in on the front side. I tried to bang the dents out of it with no use. Very disappointed because the package also came late. Can't tell if received a used or returned item for full price.

This can uses a plastic base (underneath the can) for the foot mechanism, and this cracked after about a year of use. So, the whole reason to get this can went out the window, very disappointed. They obviously did not design these for a long life.

2 of the 3 of them arrived damaged, I emailed tramontina who didn't do anything, Sams club told me there aren't any in stock and offered me 10% back?!?!

It's been a good trash can for the price, but just the other day the foot pedal broke completely off. It's made entirely of plastic, no way to repair it. But I will try to return it under the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! Lol

I bought this February 2024. It is the worst trash can I have ever owned. The top started to rust a couple months after we bought it. The bin holds smell even after the trash is thrown out. I've had previous plastic bins, and they never smelled this bad. It is extremely difficult to keep clean because of the design in the back. The lid doesn't have the ability to stay open. Just overall, a very poorly designed trash can.

I like the can. My only problem is, like many others, the can lasted only 1 year before the pedal broke. I have had plastic cans that lasted longer than that. I want another can that functions hands free, but I don't want one that only lasts one year.

For the price it is a nice trash can and the bags fit well
