I can’t justify the $4.98 price per pound being twice the price per pound of sausage and higher than boneless chicken meat. Further more, the pasta is delicious, but it is a cheap weighty ingredient that is increasingly pushing out the kale. They should now call it a pasta salad with a relish of kale. If they would reduce the pasta by two thirds and triple the kale (yea, push it in there), the salad would be a more reasonable offering for that sky high price per pound.

I don’t cook, so picking up this premade salad is easy enough for me to do. I sometimes swing by Sam’s Club just to grad one of the salads to munch on over a weekend. The pasta gives some chewy texture, and the cheese gives a nice tang to the salad. The real stars are the dressing that the salad. White balsamic vinaigrette, and the kale! The kale takes up a lot of the dressing flavor. Love it

While it's good by itself, it really satisfies and improves the nutritional content when you add some fresh cut fruit or berries to it, and/or walnuts or slivered almonds, etc. I like mine with a mix of cut strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and/or sliced black grapes to lend sweetness/antioxidants, and addition of some type of nuts really brings it all home, and helps it keep you satisfied much longer than just the salad alone will.
