As someone who enjoys red wine but sometimes finds them too dry, this Cabernet Sauvignon was a delightful surprise. It’s not as dry as other red wines I’ve tried, which made it incredibly approachable and easy to enjoy. The first thing that struck me was the rich, smooth flavor profile. The bourbon barrel aging process adds a unique depth to the wine, giving it subtle notes of vanilla, oak, and a hint of warmth that lingers on the palate. The fruit-forward character of the Cabernet Sauvignon shines through, with ripe blackberry and cherry flavors that are perfectly balanced by the bourbon influence. It’s complex yet not overwhelming, making it a great choice for both seasoned wine drinkers and those new to reds. The packaging of the bottle is sleek and modern. What I appreciated most was how well-rounded and smooth it was. The tannins were present but not harsh, and the finish was long and satisfying. 1st saw on friend's FB page, then had chance to taste with Teochew cuisine byob by same buddy. Love at first taste！Immediately went into hunting for stock...not easy find but collected 4 bottles to-date to relish during the lunar new year of the ox! Cheers!

This was displayed at Wine Anthology. I saw Bourbon Barrel Aged (fan), Cabernet Sauvignon (fan) and the right price ;-) and said...ehhh, I'll give it shot. I love it! It made my short list favorites. You have to take your time with it though... I'll be buying more tomorrow...... if it's not sold out.

While I understand it isn’t meant to be a sweet wine, the bitterness was overwhelming. I was expecting a fuller-bodied wine with more complex notes, but this one fell short. There are plenty of better options available at a similar price that don’t have this flavor issue. I had higher expectations, especially since it’s labeled as “barrel-aged.” Sadly, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor. Additionally, the cork broke into multiple pieces, which can happen, but it only made my experience worse.

Elegant Wine

A well rounded, lush, full body Cab. It has become my wife's favorite (and she doesn't drink boubon). Lucky to have a case order ready for pickup at 6pm today.

I have been buying your Bourbon Barrel Cab for years . It is superb ! I really liked the 2020 Vintage but they don't have it at my local wine store. Is it available anywhere ? Keep up the great wine vinting .
