I recently moved from California to Idaho and stumbled across this wine in my local small store, I fell in love instantly couldn't believe how good this wine was and why I never visited this winery. I am a fan of Lodi wines so this was a bonus hey use Lidi grapes. I have since not been able to find it locally as all the stores have sold out of it. So I will be doing some internet searches trying to find it a few miles away. It is a great wine without food can't get enough of it. Keep producing this wine.

I’m a fan of Cabernet Sauvignon in general but this is my first time trying this brand. A quick visual inspection revealed a rich, burgundy color. Before even tasting the wine, you can smell an essence of dark berries. I tasted hints of blackberries and black cherries as well as a slight smokiness that comes from the aging in Bourbon barrels. The alcohol level is a little on the higher end, yet it still really feels balanced. Four stars! I would purchase this again and will try other wines from the same brand.

We purchased a bottle of this wine at a local grocery store where it was a featured selection. After enjoying a taste of it, we returned to the store and bought a case. This has become our favorite wine. Complex flavors and a deep ruby color make this an appealing choice for wine. We’re pleased to have taken a chance to try this extraordinarily selection.

This was displayed at Wine Anthology. I saw Bourbon Barrel Aged (fan), Cabernet Sauvignon (fan) and the right price ;-) and said...ehhh, I'll give it shot. I love it! It made my short list favorites. You have to take your time with it though... I'll be buying more tomorrow...... if it's not sold out.

I was gifted a bottle of 1924 Double Black Bourbon Barrel about 9 months ago. I had been searching for my new drink of choice and this is it! I have loved bourbon all of my life. However, I wanted to find a wine that I enjoyed also. This 1924 Double Black Bourbon barrel is what I have been searching for. Do not misunderstand me, it does not have a bourbon flavor. However, my taste lean toward smooth bold flavors and 1924 Double Black gives me just that! I often try other wines while out at restaurants and am always a little disappointed they do not measure up to the smooth bold and never bitter flavors of 1924. I look forward to my next glass as I write this review. Well done 1924 Wines!

I bought a bottle of this wine last week, my wife loved it. I went back to the store and bought the remaining 12 bottles they had in stock. This wine has everything you could ask for: taste, nose, alcohol content and great value. This wine has quickly become a favorite choice in our household.

1st saw on friend's FB page, then had chance to taste with Teochew cuisine byob by same buddy. Love at first taste！Immediately went into hunting for stock...not easy find but collected 4 bottles to-date to relish during the lunar new year of the ox! Cheers!

Yes, 1924 is my house wine. Has to be the bourbon barrel aged wine though. I love the rich full bodied taste. The reasonable price keeps me buying more and more of it. I’m not a wine aficionado, but like most everyone if I like something I tend to partake of it. What I like is when wine enthusiasts come over and I serve it, I love their positive reaction. While I understand it isn’t meant to be a sweet wine, the bitterness was overwhelming. I was expecting a fuller-bodied wine with more complex notes, but this one fell short. There are plenty of better options available at a similar price that don’t have this flavor issue. I had higher expectations, especially since it’s labeled as “barrel-aged.” Sadly, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor. Additionally, the cork broke into multiple pieces, which can happen, but it only made my experience worse.
