I enjoyed this bottle with my fiancé, whose drink of choice is bourbon, and he agreed that this wine is a delicious middle ground between a red wine and a bourbon. The matte bottle and the label design are both gorgeous. This wine is a conversation starter that also happens to taste amazing. One glass in, this became our new go-to bottle to give as a gift. We’re planning to pick up a couple more bottles to have on hand for holiday parties, as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was incentivized to try the 1924 Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon in exchange for my honest opinion. I’m a fan of Cabernet Sauvignon in general but this is my first time trying this brand. A quick visual inspection revealed a rich, burgundy color. Before even tasting the wine, you can smell an essence of dark berries. I tasted hints of blackberries and black cherries as well as a slight smokiness that comes from the aging in Bourbon barrels. The alcohol level is a little on the higher end, yet it still really feels balanced. Four stars! I would purchase this again and will try other wines from the same brand.

Yes, 1924 is my house wine. Has to be the bourbon barrel aged wine though. I love the rich full bodied taste. The reasonable price keeps me buying more and more of it. I’m not a wine aficionado, but like most everyone if I like something I tend to partake of it. What I like is when wine enthusiasts come over and I serve it, I love their positive reaction. The presentation is also nice with a cloudy dark green bottle and a nice elegant and simple label with carefully designed fonts that are easily readable and good looking. I got stuck on the Bourbon Barrel wines and added this one to the list. Once I tasted it I was stuck on this gem. As a book reviewer, I decided to pair wines with my books, so it wasn't long before I was back out for more finds. I decided to try some of the other 1924 selections. About 15 yrs ago I decided I would give wine a try. If it was sugary and foo foo, I was all about it. I grew up and migrated from Lambrusco to Merlot. Accidentally got your 1924 Cab one day, and was hooked. In the last 2 yrs I have discovered bourbon barrel aged Cabs. Our local grocery store carries yours at VERY reasonable prices too. I buy it at least 2 times a month. I love everything about this wine. Keep up the hard work putting out quality product.

My boyfriend is a bourbon drinker, never liked wine much. We found this wine, and decided to try it. We both loved it! I am finally able to drink wine with him. It is our favorite wine to drink together. We are worried that you are going to stop making it because it is a limited addition, do you have updates on that?

We purchased a bottle of this wine at a local grocery store where it was a featured selection. After enjoying a taste of it, we returned to the store and bought a case.
