One of our favorite wines & reasonably priced. This is a go to for my husband and I. Nice smooth flavor and not too dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was incentivized to try the 1924 Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon in exchange for my honest opinion. I’m a fan of Cabernet Sauvignon in general but this is my first time trying this brand. A quick visual inspection revealed a rich, burgundy color. Before even tasting the wine, you can smell an essence of dark berries. I tasted hints of blackberries and black cherries as well as a slight smokiness that comes from the aging in Bourbon barrels. The alcohol level is a little on the higher end, yet it still really feels balanced. Four stars! I would purchase this again and will try other wines from the same brand.

I enjoyed this bottle with my fiancé, whose drink of choice is bourbon, and he agreed that this wine is a delicious middle ground between a red wine and a bourbon. The matte bottle and the label design are both gorgeous. This wine is a conversation starter that also happens to taste amazing. One glass in, this became our new go-to bottle to give as a gift. We’re planning to pick up a couple more bottles to have on hand for holiday parties, as well.

I got stuck on the Bourbon Barrel wines and added this one to the list. Once I tasted it I was stuck on this gem. As a book reviewer, I decided to pair wines with my books, so it wasn't long before I was back out for more finds. I decided to try some of the other 1924 selections. Any wine lover will find one or more of their flavors that will wow you!

I was gifted a bottle of 1924 Double Black Bourbon Barrel about 9 months ago. I had been searching for my new drink of choice and this is it! I have loved bourbon all of my life. However, I wanted to find a wine that I enjoyed also. This 1924 Double Black Bourbon barrel is what I have been searching for. Do not misunderstand me, it does not have a bourbon flavor. However, my taste lean toward smooth bold flavors and 1924 Double Black gives me just that! I often try other wines while out at restaurants and am always a little disappointed they do not measure up to the smooth bold and never bitter flavors of 1924. I look forward to my next glass as I write this review. Well done 1924 Wines!

Each sip seemed to pull in a little different note each time which was exciting to explore. The color is a beautiful, deep red and is reminiscent of the gemstone, garnet. This will be my go to wine to share with friends and family throughout the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

My boyfriend is a bourbon drinker, never liked wine much. We found this wine, and decided to try it. We both loved it! I am finally able to drink wine with him. The taste is great. If you love Cabernet Sauvignon you are gonna love this wine. It is just up my alley. The wine is soft but makes an impression. It’s a great wine for the price for sure.
