I had run-flat Pirelli tires on my new Durango R/T...I replaced them after not even 12,000 miles with the Michelin Defenders.... HUGE Difference! Quieter. Better ride and better traction. I had these on my Jeep Grand Cherokee too and they are far superior to any other tire I have used

Everything I know technically about tires you couldn't fill a thimble with. So I will tell you what is important to me. The two things that are most important to me are safety and dependability which I continually get from Michelin tires. I think I echo the sentiment of most women. I won't buy any other tires. The Michelins that I replaced on my GMC Sierra truck had 101,000 miles and had plenty of tread remaining. The new Michelins are amazing and the ride is even better than before with the 3 year old set. I'm a Michelin tire fan for life. Getting ready to put a new set on my GMC Yukon XL.

I put Michelin LTX M/S tires on my van 30K miles ago and have been very pleased with them. The ride has been smoother and the van has handled better with cornering. It also handles better with the heavy rains. I chose Michelin because I wanted the best tires on the van to ensure the best protection for my family. Based on the performance of these tire I would give Michelin a 5-Star rating.

This is my second set of Michelin defenders. I got approx. 65000 miles on first set easily. I liked them so much I replaced them with another. Great in snow or wet conditions. Low road noise. Keep rotating these tires every oil change and you’ll never have any problems with wearing.

Been using Michelin tires for about 15 years and this is the first time I've been disappointed. Only got 3 years and 30K miles out of these before they were worn to 3/32. I expected them to last longer, but they actually wore out quicker than the Primacys I used to use.

I have been an Undercarriage Specialist for a number of years. I've worked for several major tire companies and a few new car dealerships. I've been involved in the design of custom off-road and race track suspensions. I understand the geometry and physics of achieving maximum performance from a tire. Most importantly, I've experienced the quality and performance of many brands of tires. From my early years as a Front End Alignment mechanic, I noticed the Michelin Tire presented the least amount of problems and failures, and always has. In the long run, Michelin is the most inexpensive form of safety and reliability I could purchase.

The only compaint I have is that one of the tires failed less than 2 weeks after purchase. Traveling 65 mph on a straight stretch, my drive wheel tire had a side wall blow-out. This could have proved fatal had it been non-straight stretch road. However, since it's replacement there has been no problem and we are more than satisfied with them.

I purchased the LTX M/S for my 2500 Dodge truck and was impressed by the smooth and quiet ride along with the fuel mileage I was getting. I also maintained the tires by rotating and proper air pressure regularly which enable me to achieve 108,000 miles before replacing them. I recommend these tires for all around performance, smooth ride and good mileage.

I bought 4 new tires from my local car dealer. The tires perform in all types of weather with excellent grip. In addition, the tires have given me great wear, they currently have 45,000 miles and still show a significant amount of tread. There is no road tire noise of any kind and I get great mileage. So, in summary, very safe, great wear, no noise, great mileage and no required maintenance (other than allignment). Yes, I will buy them again.
