The tires are quiet and give a good ride. However, after 4.5 yrs and 38K miles, two of them are dry rotting and the tread is almost gone off of the other two. I sliced one open around some road construction so I am going to buy another set and see if this was just a fluke. I have had success with past Michelin tires, my last set lasted 80k miles.

The prior generation of these tires were awesome. Absolutely loved them. Quiet, durable, and long lasting. Bought these thinking that I would get the same service and quality. But I have to say that I can't stand them because they absolutely ROAR going down the highway. They are the loudest set of tires I have ever owned. I have owned off-road tires that don't make as much noise as these. If the amount of noise these tires make rolling down the highway matters to you, DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES! I wish I could get my money back...

My husband bought a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires after getting it install he come to pick me up as he drive there's a loude noise...the ride is much rougher with the Defender tires than The road noise is also higher with the Defender tires. I am disappointed with the Defender poor qualit

I purchased these LTX M/S tires for my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 and when I sold it with 40K + miles they did not look used at all. These tires are quiet and run smooth, thus I just bought another set for my 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4. I highly recommend these tires

I purchase these at the recommendation of the local tire shop. Shortly after installation I drove a few hundred miles mostly on the highway and there was significant vibration at speeds of 65-75 mph. This made for a miserable trip. I immediately went back to have them rebalanced again when I returned home. This did not make the ride any better so they attempted a third balancing and the ride is now worse. Additionally, if I don’t drive for a few days the tires get out of round and then there is significant vibration at slow speeds until they warm up. I never had these problems with the previous two sets of tires which were also much cheaper. These are the worst tires I have ever purchased.

I recently replaced another brand of tires that had been put on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee before I bought it used in 2008. I could not wait for them to wear out. I could tell the difference before I was out of the parking lot at the tire dealer. I now have an increased smooth and quiet ride. I am a long time Michelin fan--again, I am not disappointed.

Tires have been on this vehicle for two weeks tops. first bad ice/snow storm we got 2/4/2022 upstate ny. WOW this vehicle performed 110% didn’t slide all over even when I tried to make it loose traction, last month we had snow and I was running the stock Bridgestone dueler tires that came with the vehicle. What a joke them tires are. If Michelin continue to make these tires my 2022 highlander will soon get a brand new pair of defenders LTX m/s. I’m probably just going to remove the Goodyear tires that came with the vehicle. Great job Michelin..

Tires wear excellent. Side walls look brand new. 68k and still tread life. Better to spend the dollars on a superior tire than save a dollar on less expensive tire that does not even compare. Ridgeline ride is great. Handles very smooth. Braking is good. Looking at moving up to Latitude for our next set of Michelin Tires. Have Michelin tires on our Honda Civic and if I can find tires we will put them on our Goldwing. Michelin makes great tires that last.

I've had the Defender series on several different vehicles. Best performing road tire I've ever had. Wet, slick, icy and light snow, the traction, stopping power and cornering is the best. I'd love to have some narley looking AT tires on my 4runner for looks but I'll never change from the Defenders, I feel safe with them on my vehicle.

I have used michelin tires for the past 40 years ! always been satisfied, even after a couple of mishaps that the dealer took care of right away without any questions, ( My dealer is great ). The last 3 or 4 sets of michelin tires have taken me down the road at least 60,000 miles and up to 80,000. I expect this new set to last 80,000 plus miles. Thank you very much !
