My young adult says this pizza tastes better than any local fresh. It’s his “life saver” when he needs a satisfying meal in a hurry. Lately he’s taken to baking 2 at a time because the aroma brings everyone to the kitchen to beg a slice from him! I fund them at only one grocery chain where we live and I routinely buy out their stock to fill our freezer at home. Even more crazy: since the weather is freezing cold we now keep backup inventory in the car boot! 😄 We use the flattened box to slide the hot pizza out of the oven, so clean up is a breeze.

I purchased this cheese pizza as a basic ‘starter’ and then planned to add my own fresh veggies. Due to time constraints last night, I was only able to cook the original for the kids. Of course, I sampled it and couldn’t stop!!! It was delicious ! And I loved how the cheese was already ‘melted’ which helped in the cooking process and made the ooey gooey cheese cover the entire pizza!

Only feedback I can provide is that our King Soopers only sells the cheese pizza and pepperoni/sausage combo. I do not like the sausage y’all use and therefore I buy the cheese and add pepperoni. So, would love to see pepperoni only at our store or possibly an update to the sausage you use, it really isn’t good. As a family we enjoy sausage and pepperoni when we eat out, but unfortunately do not enjoy Homerun’s pepperoni/sausage pizza.

I dont usually care much for frozen pizza but I really like home run inn. The cheese is really good, it's never a mess taking it out of the package, and I actually even like the crust. Most pizza crust is just filler but this one I actually like to eat!

Here's why we love this pizza: 1. The crust is delicious. It is thin crust but has a yummy doughy, yeasty, cornbread-ish flavor. 2. It's so easy to prepare. When you remove the plastic packaging, no bits of cheese come out all over the counter. And it bakes directly on the oven shelf so when you remove it from the oven, you can place it on the cool pizza stone for easy cutting.

When I first moved to Chicago area for school, I underestimated this frozen pizza that my friends ate often. Honestly I was never much for any pizza. I grew to love this treat and it is absolutely my most favorite pizza!! It’s the crisp sourdough like crust with just the right amount of cheese. Although I no longer live in Illinois, I am fortunate that my local grocery store carries it and we always keep one in the freezer on hand!

We don't often see Home Run Inn Pizza in our town. I bought it because it was advertised on sale in my local store's weekly circular, and we like to keep a few pizzas in the freezer. We had it for a late quick supper a week or so later, and what a pleasant surprise! Nice cheesy flavor, cooked very evenly, and what a great crust! I will definitely look for Home Run Inn again!

Every Friday for years, my husband makes his own pizza dough and then makes four different varieties of pizzas for our family. My children, love your pizza best. Papi Pizza Will always have a special place in my heart because of the care he puts into it, but our family now also loves Home Run nights.

I was shopping for a quick, easy dinner. I consider myself quite the frozen pizza connoisseur. Throughout looking at the other brands, I found this one that mentioned it was from Chicago and was at a good price point. The inner portions of the pie to include the sauce and cheese was very delicious and reminiscent of a freshly made Chicago pizza. The outer crust it’s very dry, and taste quite yeasty or like a beer, and left more to be desired. Although the crust may have not been finished, that left more room for a dessert the pizza overall was a good value for the money both in size of portion and quality of taste. Would recommend baking a few minutes longer than what is suggested on the box next time.
