The Homerun Inn Classic cheese pizza is hands down the best frozen pie I've tried. It's fairly close to the quality and taste of the fresh pies from Homerun Inn pizzerias here in Chicagoland! The cheese has a savory, subtle smoky flavor that is complimented by the buttery, hint of beer-battered crust, tied together with a rich - but not too acidic or tangy tomato sauce. Combined this flavor explosion leaves a whisper of fermented deliciousness, similar to a good sour dough, that makes it an ideal match to wash down with a nice beer. Be warned... you'll want to keep eating and eating this pizza, it tastes that good! We have at least one a week, and with Sam's double packs of the cheese, supreme, and sausage it makes it much more affordable than supermarket prices.
