- 5 out of 5 stars review5/21/2012These tires came standard on my 2011 BMW X3. I'm old school and was very concerned about RFT usage. It unnerved me to not have a spare on-board. I have about 7,000 miles on the vehicle and am pleasantly surprised all around. The car handles like a big cat, no surprises, no squeals, just a on-rails feeling in sweepers, on the Interstate, in rain, in hot and cold. Last winter was a non-winter here, so I have no experience with these puppies in slush, snow or on ice. But so far, so good. I've been to the Smoky Mountains and back, on dirt, gravel and paved roads. No issues, knock wood. Now if BMW would only install a dipstick to pacify this Boomer, I'd be even happier. Electronic oil level indicators? Bah, humbug!

The tires held the road very well. I was impressed. They are a bit noisey. If you can stand the noise I would recommend these. My 2006 Avalon got over 32 mpg. Best I've seen in 85,000 miles.

I chose these for my sister's Subaru Forester as I was very impressed by the Michelin Pilots I had on my Camry, but the Primacy mxm4 are very disappointing. I'm now shopping again, this time going for an ALL WEATHER TIRE. I'm not sure I will be purchasing Michelin's in the future. This vehicle is used primarily in the city and she didn't want to have to invest in two sets of tires considering she drives less than 10k a year.

Mind you, I just bought the tires however from the moment I pulled out of the service center I could tell a HUGE difference in the ride and handling from the previous tires. I'm completely sold!

I am sitting at 22,000 miles 2 years into my lease and when I went in for my scheduled oil change I asked them to rotate my tires, at which the dealership said I needed new tires. These are a 55,000 mile tire and i have 1/32nd left in tread on my rear tires. Contacted Hyundai who denied the claim. My fronts have 7/32 left on the treads. I rotated the first time at 10,000 miles. I would expect more out of Michelin tires.

I do a lot of gentle engine breaking and with a CVT there isn't much exciting about 0-60, so these tires live a boring life. The car lives in a garage too at night. I got about 35,000 on the original set and decided to replace with the same tire. I am at 68,000 and it appears I am about 4-5k miles from a third set. I used to run Goodyear Assurance Comfortred's and get the advertised mileage (80k) in older Accords when I used to travel highways all the time. I think 45-50k would be realistic on these tires. 35k just seems low. Also, once you get down to about 4-5mm of tread depth, the noise really picks up.

I drive a 9 year old lexus ls 430 and have had several set of tires on this car and these are the quietest yet most responsive tires of all. I'm really impressed.

Checked all kinds of tires cheaper to expensive. Almost went cheaper, decided to go with these Primacy tires. Man I am glad I did. Whisper quiet ride, not a hint of vibration, shudder, good cornering, traction in the wet. Car is not driven in the snow, can't comment on that. These things roll nice down the road, no issues here whatsoever. Only a couple thousand on them right now, I am impressed so far.

These however, during cold months, are losing 5psi per week. They ride fine and grip the road fine, but I now have to be in the habit of constantly checking pressure.

The noise level has also decreased noticeably. Driving comfort is much higher compared to my previous tires. There was no damage during the year of use. I was completely satisfied with my choice.

I had someone suggest Michelin Primacy mxm4 to me and they are GREAT nice quiet smooth ride and when it rains I have no problems now.

Will mention its very hard to get the 70 dollar chard back as a rebate we waited MONTHS with several calls the last time!! The tires are awesome in Rain! No planning! Very quiet and smooth. Actually they are worn out still are better than the goodyear eagles were as a new tire when we got the car!!

The dealership replaced them, after I confronted them about excessive road noise and poor tread life, with Michelin PRIMACY MXM4 tires. These tires are what all the new BMW'S should be equipped with, instead of Bridgestone and Pirelli tires. The service manager admitted that the Bridgestone RFT have many complaints concerning road noise with that getting worse as the tires wear down. One customer returned to the dealership for an oil change at 10k miles and was told the tires were in need of replacing. THANK YOU MICHELIN for an excellent tire that is dependable and lasts as it is expected. I worked for GOODYEAR for thirty years and I never got any kind of milea...

They provide great dry traction when accelerating, cornering, and during everyday driving. They also handle uneven and rough roadways really well, both with absorption of the shock and dampening of the noise. The real test came during recent heavy rain. I was driving home from work at night after a heavy downpour and didn't see a large pool of water on the freeway, which I couldn't avoid in time. Fortunately these tires rolled right through it, never hydroplaning and allowing me to maintain control of my vehicle. I can see why these tires are chosen to be on Teslas.
Solid performance in dry and wet conditions.

I have rotated every 4k-5K miles and drive her extremely conservatively . Alignment and tire pressures are perfect. I will only get 20K miles out of this set. Very disturbing since and a waste to only get 20K miles. Same issues with the 2 Ford Fusions I have with the same Primacy. I should get assistance from Michelinfor help since I am only going to get less than 50% of their guaranteed life

P... - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013As the saying goes "You get what you pay for" is so true. I bought Michelin tire to replace some other brand my 2007 Volvo came with. Immediately you could tell the difference in the handling and the smoothness driving in the city and on highways. The original tires Volvo come with are Michelin and for a good reason because they are truly the best tires. I've had Corvette's, Audi's, even Lincolns in my time with all kinds of different brands. But "once you go Michelin you don't go back"!! Michelin tires make me and my family feel safe and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I got tired of blowing money on them so I found the closest size Michelin made in the Primacy MXM4. I absolutely love them! They ride noticeably smoother, handle better, and look better! Keep in mind this is on a brand new car with less than 5k miles on it, and I could still tell a major difference. They should come OE on the Escape Titanium! Time will tell how long they last as I've put about 1k miles on them.
Should be OE on '13 Escape!
