These apples I bought from Sam's were not crispy as I thought. I love Honey crisp because they are crispy but these are soft like a normal red delicious. Every time I try and give Sam's Club a chance with produce the taste and texture is horrible.

We have a very busy lifestyle so I have been using the online order and pick up option, BIG mistake. Maybe I was expecting too much; however, would have thought the people that are gathering the items for an online order, would choose the quality of products, that they would take home with them, not the case. I ordered 2 bags of apples and was so disappointed that over half of the apples were mushy and had mold on them. The apples had rotted enough, that there was liquid in the bottom of the bag. I had the same issue with cucumbers, and grape tomatoes. Maybe not as disappointed in the product itself, as I am in the lack of quality of service, or lack there of. I know Sam’s will typically accept a return of products; however, it is an 80 mile round trip drive for me to make a return, and you have to bring the rotten items back, in order to receive credit or replacement items.

Second time in two months that I had to return due to rotten/bruised apples (did order pickup). 50% of the bag were bruised beyond use, and one was so damaged it had leaked over the others and made everything sticky. Only 5 apples were salvageable. If you go in the store, there are usually some good bags. Sam's needs to teach their shoppers how to pick the best produce for pick up like Smiths/Kroger does, or they will continue to have to refund orders.

They are large, fresh and sweet. They go well with some natural peanut butter. If they were only organic it would be even better. I'm just glad they are consistently good. We've thrown out a lot of bad tasting apples from other brands in the past.

These apples are huge! They have a wonderful flavor, they always are in fabulous condition (no big bruises) and they last a very long time on my counter. I like to use these for pies and for making German Apple Cake. I highly recommend these apples.

Most of apples in this bag got spoilt soon. Also, the taste was not so good.
