More than a few bad apples

After searching around for a bag without any visible bruises, I found one only to get home and still have to toss about half of the bag. Apples haven't been my only issue. Bulk produce has been pretty disappointing for us at Sam's over the past few months.

Many were bruised

I ordered these online and did a curbside pickup. I have had mostly good success with produce being selected by shoppers using this process but this purchase and these apples were a big disappointment. Over half had pretty significant bruises and after a week became mushy.

Honeycrisp Apples 4# Bag

These are the worst Honeycrisp apples we’ve ever bought. We’ve tried to be fair and buy them over a 12-month period 5 different times. Each time they taste like dirt and worms. Literally!! They taste HORRIBLE!!!!! United Supermarket has the best tasting Honeycrisp apples. Most of the fruit at Sam’s is isn’t good.

Honey crisp Apples

I received today and I ordered 2 bags and I tried to eat one apple and I could not eat half. These apples have an odd taste. Please give me credit for these apples. Can someone pick them up because I am a Senior Citizen and I do not get out much. Thank you. These apples are not edible.

Disappointed

I have ordered these numerous times and normally have good results. Not this time. I couple of the apples had large holes in the peeling. Browned and unedible. I notified customer service and was told I'd receive a e-coupon to make up for it within 48 hours. It has been a week and I don't have it yet.

Best apples I've ever had

I love these apples! I buys 6 bags a week. They have been inconsistent in taste, texture and size as they usually are and as compared to other types of apples...perhaps that comes with a hybrid apple. At the moment the price has been in the $4 per bag rang because as I mentioned the inconsistency...usually they are nearly $10 a bag!!! I feel the club needs to loose a star for that itself.

Disappointed

I bought a bag three weeks ago and although some were badly bruised, they were mostly crisp and tasty. Each apple also had a sticker identifying it as honeycrisp. I bought another bag yesterday and they are mushy with little flavor. There are also no stickers on the apples.

Beware! Snow White Apples!

I was extremely disappointed when I ordered Honeycrisp Apples online for curbside pickup. First, there was a smell of a chemical that reminded me of some sort of paint thinner. Could not for the life of me find what was making that smell until I got into my house and was putting my order away but before I realized they were the apples, my child and her friend had taken 2 washed them up and started to eat them. I was putting the apples away when I found the apples to have that chemical smell to them. I made the kids to throw them away. When I took the rest of the apples out of the bag I also found every apple had numerous mushy spots and that same chemical smell, so I just decided to get rid of all of them. I am very disappointed and concerned why they smelled of harsh chemicals!

2 Months and They Are Still Ripe?

I bought these apples Mar 26. It's Jun 2 and not one is rotten. They are still pretty firm. A few have wrinkled skin. I don't see anywhere on these apples (the bag or description on the website) where they have any special coating or have been treated with anything to slow the ripening process. Not sure what it is, but I'm sure they aren't natural or organic. This review will probably be removed. I will not buy these again.

rotten again

Bought these and two days later decided to remove from the bag and put them all in the refrigerator and found that half of the bag contained rotten apples. I have never in my life bought rotten apples from a grocery store, but leave it to Sam’s Club to make that possible. This was one of three items from one shopping trip that were rotten within a couple days of purchasing. I was on the fence about renewing my membership, and this kind of quality is definitely pushing me to the NO WAY side.
