Mr. Russell is the best whiskey man God ever put on planet Earth. Wild Turkey 101 is a great testament to the fact. The great corn flavor of this monumental bourbon is outstanding, not to be duplicated, or improved upon by any other. Wild Turkey 101 has never caused me to not want to enjoy it evening after evening. Never mix this splendid bourbon. Enjoy Wild Turkey 101 straight. It is smooth as silk with that marvelous corn note.

I was raised around Wild Turkey all my life. Dad would always have a bottle of 101 at Christmas to open. It was a tradition. In fact, Dad and I would always exchange Wild Turkey 101 at Christmas every year. Dad is gone now, but I saved all of the wrapped bottles, and open them on special occasions.

First time I had it, we were in Pittsburgh for a Steeler game. 2003. My brother said, Sis, you need to take off your training wheels and have a real Bourbon. I was drinking Ole Granddad. The bar tender laughed, and poured us a shot. I have been drinking Wild Turkey ever since!!

Nose: Medium intensity spice, light vanilla, light dry oak Taste: Sweet bourbon spice with some light vanilla. Also hanging around is a yeasty nuttiness. It's not reminiscent of peanuts to me but is a nuttiness all in its own category. Finish: Long lingering, but light, nutty finish when taken with a sip of water before hand.

I have been drinking 101 for 30+ years. All my friends know it’s my pretty much drink of choice I have tried numerous other bourbons and to me personally nothing quite compares. As Jimmy Russell says when you know it’s right don’t fix a da_n thing

I was a longtime 101 bourbon fan even before touring the distillery and meeting Jimmy Russell on the grounds (by the way, one of the very top Bourbon Country tour experiences). It is eminently drinkable in cocktails (Manhattans are my go-to), neat or with a splash of water or mixer (Diet Coke is my standard, Cherry Coke at Christmas) and sells at a bargain price point.

Wild Turkey 101 is often overlooked due to past generations “expectations “ of what a bourbon should be. This should be on every bourbon lovers go to list. Searching for the latest, great thing to come along? Save your time, life is too short. Go with 101. It never disappoints.

After my first sip of WT 101 neat I knew it was the bourbon for my everyday go to. While my bourbon bar has several bottles for variety, I ALWAYS have a bottle of WT 101 on hand. Sweet opening, balanced layers, great mouth feel and viscosity, plus a great finish.

WT101 is just a solid, reliable bourbon. I love this in cocktails because at 101 proof it holds it's own. It's a really good bourbon that is easy to find and priced great. While not having the depth of flavor as Rare Breed or Kentucky Spirit, it is still a nice bourbon to sip neat - but it truly shines in cocktails. I will always have one on my shelf!

Wild Turkey 101 is all I purchase and drink. This has been my go to for over 20 years. I have family and friends who have converted to drinking Wild Turkey 101 due to me introducing it to them over the years. I enjoy it. It's the best brand of whiskey on the market. No argument. Everyone should drink Turk! Everyone who knows me, knows this is all I drink because I always have my bottle whenever I attend any family gathering, party, etc.
