I like all Wild Turkey spirits, but Wild Turkey 101 bourbon is my favorite. Regardless of its modest selling price, it is my favorite. I've tried dozens of other bourbons, most much more expensive, but I still keep coming back to this. Unfortunately, I feel the company does a poor job of marketing and merchandizing its products.

Wild Turkey 101 is my standard, the one which all others are compared. Sometimes after such a comparison I think was that worth the price of 2 or 3 bottles of Old Reliable? Often times it’s not really. We’ve all heard the tasting notes so I’ll just say I enjoy the balance and classic bourbon flavor. For me it’s really hard to beat. In fact, Dad and I would always exchange Wild Turkey 101 at Christmas every year. Dad is gone now, but I saved all of the wrapped bottles, and open them on special occasions.
