The standard against which I measure all other bourbons. As to its’ versatility, it’s great neat, on the rocks, or as a mixer (if you must). It represents what a bourbon should be, no hype, just great product. And at a price that doesn’t require a loan to obtain.

I have been drinking Wild Turkey 101 since 1982. No offense to Wild Turkey but 80 proof just doesn’t have depth of flavor and noteworthy taste. I am in the group of people who don’t drink bourbon neat. I think that a little water is needed to prevent the alcohol overpowering the intricate flavors of the bourbon.

This is a bourbon that I always have on hand. Great flavor for sipping or mixing, especially for the price. I would have given this a higher rating but I just tried the 8 year and that is so much better so dropped it to a three. Crazy what a couple of extra years in a barrel can do.

I have been drinking 101 for the past 25 years and I’ve never been disappointed. The smooth rich flavor with just enough deep taste. I use 101 for Old Fashions, Manhattans, with seven up, or just on the rocks. Sometimes just neat. The Rye is also very satisfying in various drinks. Wild Turkey is very reasonably priced for its consistency and taste.

If you haven’t a heard of WT101, you’re sorely missing out! I’ve had so many different bourbons but it’s hard to top 101. Everything from the flavors to the proof to the availability and price point just screams go to bourbon. A personal favorite of mine!

I will occasionally try other brands of whiskey in comparable price range and always come back to 101. Even on the occasion I go for more expensive glass I never get the same satisfaction from the first taste on the tongue nor the smooth finish I get from Wild Turkey 101

Wild Turkey 101 just smells good. I like my Turkey even before I take that first delicate sip. I let that first sip and every one after just relax there on the back of my tongue a while to absorb every bit of that rich taste. Then is offers that almost dangerous feeling as it glides down my throat to splash into my stomach where it ignites that glow like none other.

I have enjoyed Wild Turkey 101 for years. I find it's a smooth drinker, on the rocks or straight up, and never fails to please my pallet. Of all the Bourbons I have tried, Wild Turkey 101 is always in my cabinet, and will always be a favorite of mine! It speaks to tradition, and I can appreciate that!

Wild Turkey 101 is one of my favorites! I keep 4 bottles of bourbon on hand and this is one of the must have bottles in the cabinet. I prefer it on the rocks with sparkling water, about 2/3s 101 and 1/3 water . As a matter of fact it is almost 4pm, time for some turkey 101 now!!!!!!!!

Wild Turkey 101 is my go-to everyday bourbon. It is great over ice or as a mixer. In 9 out of 10 cases you have to spend twice as much to find a bottle as good as WT101. I regularly try new bourbons and even have a subscription. I use WT 101 as my standard for what good bourbon should be and compare new bottles to it. It is amazing how many bottles fall short in the comparison. There are many great bourbons on the market, and I am not trying to say that WT 101 competes with the high-end top shelf big boys. But dollar for dollar I would put it up against anything else out these. Great quality at a great value. It should be in everyone's bar!
