i just received this about a week ago and love it. i did receive the Black Friday price although i saw it posted for $20 less the previous friday, although i think it was a mistake because it only lasted for a few hours. the only way it didn't meet my expectation is that the product description indicates 2.5 lb. increments which is true but only up to 25 lbs. beyond that you have to dial in 30 lb. on one side of the bar and 25 lb. on the other side to average out to 27.5 lb. but then the center of gravity changes and the bar feels a little awkward to handle. if 2.5 lb. increments aren't important to you then you won't have a problem. otherwise this is an awesome product.

I ordered these because I wanted heavier weights and liked the idea of one set being adjustable. They came very quickly and were easy to unpack. They are exactly what I wanted. I love that they save space and can be adjusted with just a couple of turns on the dial. I also really like that you can adjust them in 2.5 pound increments.

Value: I'm a member of one of those "Wholesale Clubs" that offered these for a little less but the shipping fee was outrageous. Walmart's price was good and the FREE shipping sealed the deal! Shipping: Unbelievably fast! These arrived within a few days and I was kept informed via a tracking number on where they were and when they would be delivered to my door. They were spot on! No complaints what so ever! Product Pros: 1. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to switch out your weights and don't want a bunch of different dumbbells to do so, then these are for you! 2. They take up minimal space and are a no-brainer to use. 3. They seem to be well constructed and are backed by the Bowflex-Weider name. Product Cons: 1. Yes, I did state that they are easy to use, however I have noticed that on occasion they tend to get "hung up" when switching to another weight. You just have to make sure the dials are perfectly aligned before attempting to remove them from their cradle. 2. I'm a small woman (5'1") and these are a "little" bulky for my petite frame, but definitely not a deal breaker....just takes a little getting used to them :) In closing, my overall purchase experience and product expectations were surpassed!

These Bowflex SelectTech 52 dumbbells are great and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the bumbbells are too long and on certain exercises they bang; however, because of its flexibility and ease of use, they are totally worth it. Highly recommended!!!

Once I got them unjammed they have been easy to use. I called the manufacture and they were great a answering and helping me.

I love these weights. I workout with them almost everyday. Makes it so convenient, and takes the mess of all the different sets of weights out of the way.

i had an earlier version that i loved, but this one has even higher weights. you can easily increase your fitness just by using them during the ads on tv. flexible and easy to use.

I love this product, they aren't diffucult to use as I thought they might be. The selector wheel works great and easy to set the weights you want to lift. These are compact and a good deal.

I bought these bells after looking at a set of fixed weight steel dumbbells. I use a range of weights for different sets so would have had to buy a lot of fixed weight bells. I took a gamble and bought these. Have never looked back. They replace a load of fixed weight bells very well - including half pound weights which some gyms don't have. Yes they do have a price sticker shock, but compared to free weights, they are a bargain and do the job very well.

Great product for someone that wants the versatility of different weights without having to store a bunch of different pieces. Just beware if you are purchasing as a gift it is shipped in packaging that displays the content of the package. Christmas suprise ruined but he liked the gift nonetheless.
