The adjusting function on the set would not slide and when it would it was a massive pain! The Bowflex Adjustable Dumbbells we're out of the box AWESOME and practical! Very Versatile and easy to use.

Installation: not applicable Use: Super easy to turn the dials and get the weight desired. One downside is that the length is fixed so even if you only use a single weight plate, visually it took a second to get used to.

The little ding when you adjust weight is super satisfying. The feel of the weights is good. They are much wider when doing smaller weight than a smaller dumb bell would be. I'm super happy.

And what a space saver! I know they've been on the market for a long time, but people should be reminded about the benefit of these smartbells.

The amount of time and space you will save with these makes them worth every penny. Such a cool design and even easier to use than I expected. There are a lot of gimmick products out there, this is NOT one of them. Outstanding piece of equipment in every way.

I was able to replace almost 500 lbs of dumb-bells I picked up at garage sales with these. (sold them which paid for most of the cost) They seem sturdy and well built. What waits to be seen is how they hold up over time. So far I love them!

They are extremely easy to make adjustments to and seem to be built of high quality. You can move from one excersise to the next in almost no time at all. Great buy for a beginner looking to just get started in getting in shape. Also came from Walmart on the exact day they said they would which was very short delivery.

I am thrilled with the product, stated as the website said. No issues they are easy to use direct out of the box. Even comes with a manual and about 30 different workouts to do. I would definitely recommend to anybody and plan on upgrading to the selecttech 1090 when my body is strong enough :-).

The weight is easy to select - two selections for each dumbbell, one for each side. The size of the dumbbells is not too large, grip is good, and best of all they take up much less space than the alternative. I've had them for about a week and have used them daily and they've been great so far.

I wish I would have purchased the stand when I got the dumbbells because it's hard to find now considering the pandemic. I would absolutely recommend these. The grip is a little thicker but still comfortable, if you happen to have small hands. They're perfect for all fitness levels.

I am getting these to use with my resistance bands. So grateful to be able to workout again.

Either it would take so long to change the weight plates on my dumbells, or I would stick with the same weight for all my exercises, neither of which allowed me the most efficient workout. These weights are simply incredible! Just a simple turn of the dial allows me to quickly go up or down in weight. This is easily the best investment you will make for your home gym!

I felt bad for the delivery person as they are really heavy! lol, but my husband really likes them they adjust from 5 lbs (for me)to 50 lbs with the click of a lever! nice for me as I just want to tone and NOT build muscle. They are compact and fit in small spaces without being in the way. We have had other weight systems and the weights are always all over the place and take time to change and adjust. These are so convenient! All in all I think this idea is genius ! and they are great for anyone wanting to do a little weight training without the HUGE investment or space sacrifice!

Been using it for a month now so review is from a new user perspective. The dial is steady and works very well. I did read other reviews complaining about faulty dial system yet ventured to purchase this because I needed compact dumb bells. Over time, you would get used to this product as it definitely feels different compared to the traditional dumb bells you've used. The package itself is really HEAVY! Make sure you read the unpacking instructions in the booklet. The manufacturer should keep unpacking instructions pasted separately on the top of the inside packaging so people are alerted immediately than much later.
