Can't beat the value

Excellent price. Usually has some green, which is fine because it's such a big bunch, it lasts a couple of weeks. I've only been disappointed when I got bunches that didn't have some green on them--had to throw some away.

turns brown before it ripens

I tried to buy these several times. Bought green with expectations of ripening at home. Never abused by me. But inherently in a few days black spots show up before the banana ripens. What is it with Sams fruit produce?

Larger bananas that last all week

I typically use Sam's club bananas because they are a decent size, you get a larger quantity, and most importantly they last through the week. I purchase them with a bit of green initially, but they ripen within 2-3 days.

Purchased through pickup and received green bananas, which is fine because they normally ripen in a few days. They sat on our counter for 9 days and never ripened. Opened one and it was completely hard and disgusting. Had to trash.

Green bananas with brown spots

The bananas never ripened, but instead got brown spots. I put them in different places to see if it was based on the temperature in my kitchen, no change.

I buy Sam's bananas on every visit.

Best bananas around, best prices. I love bananas in smoothies, use them in my Yonana-maker (turn frozen bananas into great ice-cream-like dessert), and my bunnies do binkies when they smell a piece of banana coming as a treat.

Nanners

We love nanners: natures candy, comes in its own bio degradable package can be corrupted by frying them in peanut oil and topped with cinnamon or carmel icecream , drizzled with warm peanutbutter and dark chocolate...mmmm

Freeze them for smoothies

Yes these are large bunches and most often green when purchasing, but the best price around. When they over-ripen I remove the peels break them in half & put in freezer bags to use for smoothies. Never have to waste any bananas this way ;-)

Green With Brown Spots

Day after purchase at the Wallkill NY club still green now has numerious brown spots. Regular or organic it doesn't matter all Sam's bananas do this, If I purchase elsewhere and their bananas look great and don't "Brown spot" on green.

If it's not Dole don't buy

My local Sam's switched from Dole bananas to a brand I've never heard of before and their bananas are usually over ripe, black in the center of the banana and doesn't taste as good.
