Where have all the Good Ones gone!?!

Recently banana purchases have been rather disappointing. They're All green, and usually that would be no problem. However, they now go from green to brown in 4 seconds flat it seems. There's been no new routine of storing them, so I'm a little baffled.

Not good!

I have complained about bananas to associates multiple times. Wherever they are coming from, I think there's some kind of disease and banana trees that makes half of these bananas inedible... Msny times, we have found 50% of the bananas in any given bunch having dark rot in them. We have actually stopped buying bananas from Sam's Club, and go to another place to get them. This feedback needs to go back to the farm(s) wherever these are coming from.

Great green bananas

Great to find green bananas that had no bruises on them! I keep in the refrig when they start ripening. Peelings get black but tge banana stays firm! After they ripen beyond my liking, I put them in the freezer then use them to sweeten banana bread! Healthier!

B, B, Bananas

The bunch I picked was perfect! I didn't see any bruised ones at all. I made fabulous banana bread the next day. The cleanliness of Sam's Club is so impressive to me! Extraordinarily clean! I love being in the store because of that and their great offerings.

Fresh bananas

Love the green ones! Sam's always has green but you have to go inside, if you are disabled or do pick up, no way to write message to those who shop for you to get you the green ones ?????????????? Need a way to communicate with your shoppers??? 🙏 please. Need to update on website or app maybe?

Yes we have bananas today!

Nice size bunch for a bargain price. Always arrive nearly ripe and are usually ready to use within 1 day, only once did I need to let ripen for 2 or 3 days. Wonderful flavor good for 3 days before needing refrigeration. When refrigerated the peel will turn dark but the fruit remains firm and delicious.

No Bananas at Sam's club.

The banana purchase was a bust. First time ever buying it there. Got a partial bunch of 7 medium sized bananas ( not more than 2 lbs or less ) did a scan & go as a worker prompted me, assisted me with it. I had a two package charge - double of 3lbs price. I was telling her that this is only part of a bunch..probably needs to be weighed. So I paid for 6 lbs for 7 med sized ones. Was too much trouble to to take it back. Will never buy bananas there again.

I'm bananas about these bananas!

There's something undeniably alluring about the curve of a perfectly ripe banana—golden skin blushing with freckles, inviting you closer. You peel it slowly, savoring the gentle resistance as it gives way to the soft, sweet flesh within. The first bite? Silken. Smooth. Almost indecently satisfying. Bananas aren't just a fruit—they're an experience. Naturally sweet without being overwhelming, with a creamy texture that practically melts on your tongue. They're the kind of indulgence you can take anywhere—wholesome yet just a little bit wicked. And let's not forget their versatility. Sliced over warm oatmeal, blended into a luscious smoothie, or eaten plain, straight from the peel in a quiet moment of pleasure… they never disappoint. If temptation had a flavor, it might just taste like banana.

Just So-So Bananas

Bananas are green when delivered but ripen very quickly. Previous bruises show up as well as ripening spots and usually rotting from the blossom end. They go from green to unusable in just a few days. Typically we are only able to use about half of each bunch. Will likely stop purchasing these.

Who doesn't love a banana

These are still on the green side so last a little longer than already ripe ones. They are large in size and have a great taste. Wish they would last longer in our house, but with our love for this fruit that is not very likely!
