You just have to wait a few days for them to start turning yellow and then getting spots—they're very underripe when you buy them. I cut them up and freeze them to use in smoothies and ice cream.

The Bananas are wonderful!! I usually buy 2 bunches at a time!! They last a good bit with serving two 2 people Bananas, Blueberries and Strawberries every morning!! Thank you!!

Great value for the price and bananas taste yummy! They may not always be ripe when buying, but I leave them on kitchen counter and they ripen within a couple of days.

The reason I gave it a 4 is that they are too many taped together in a group. They all ripen the same day. I eat one a day so the last ones I get to are overripe.

I ordered online and received GREEN bananas. I will have to allow to ripen before I can eat them. Lesson learned to state to not accept green bananas in notation before completing the purchase.

They were a little to ripe to keep very long. The flavor was tasty had to freeze a few to make banana nut bread they were to ripe for me to eat. Over all they were worth the price.

As per usual, Sam's club has quality products. The trouble with bananas is that they ripen all together. Hence banana bread. There is a great recipe for banana sandwich bread on the King Arthur website!

These bananas are ALWAYS green when I make the purchase. By the time they ripen, they are ugly and freckled and bruised. I keep purchasing them hoping for a different outcome.

What can I say, they are just bananas and taste like most bananas. I like to buy them when they are not completely ripe so they don't go back too quickly on the kitchen counter.

Great bananas. Always last a long time. Often times they are too ripe to eat for a few days but that is better than them turning brown within a few days of having them!
