Delivered Expired vs Fresh

The spinach is excellent in every way—when it’s fresh. The problem is that freshness feels like a gamble. I get most of my groceries delivered, and more times than I’d like, the spinach shows up with an expiration date that’s either the same day or the very next day. When it’s good, it’s really good: vibrant, crisp, and perfect for salads or cooking. But the inconsistency is frustrating. Some deliveries arrive with plenty of shelf life left, while others feel like they’re already on borrowed time. Overall, the product itself is great—the reliability isn’t. Buying it ends up feeling like a roll of the dice.

Tops in greens!!!

We love this spinach!!! We eat alot of salads at our house, and the quality that you get at Sam's beats the supermarket hands down!!! This is also ORGANIC which would cost at least twice as much at the grocery store. You get alot for the money. This container lasts us about a week and a half. When we run out, I gurantee that we are going back to Sam's for this product. We also love this spinach steamed as a side dish and tossed with a little butter. The greens are always fresh and crispy. We also use alot of the Organic Baby Spring Mix as well. If your family eats a lot of salad like we do, than this is an awesome buy. I will definitely buy this product again & again!!! Thanks Sam's Club for offering high quality produce at such affordable prices!!!!

Used to be a top quality product

Use to purchase - great quality and good value. Last few months the product is wet and disintegrating inside the package. Need to improve wash and dry quality. Shipping might be contributing to lack of quality - possibility being frozen or getting to cold. Sale date today was one date to expiration - probably lack of sales due to lack of quality. Hopefully this can be resolved and the quality will be restored. We'll check back in a couple of months.

Probably NOT triple washed

Buy the "Triple washed" Organic Spinach every time I visit Sam's, have noticed that the Spinach has quite a few insects on the last couple of packages bought but did not bother. But tonight, it was not a few but had to discard them. I can't be taking photo of everything I see while prepping our dinner.. but this time after taking a few out and wash them down the drain, I as surprised to see more of these insects. Does not look triple wash :(

Trash Product

This used to be a good product with nice baby spinach leaves. Most of the time now I get varying wet, slimy roughage with tough stems and half eaten at leaves. Since when is it acceptable to put something aside from the advertised product into the container? It’s not Baby Spinach. Also, when has it become acceptable to sell produce that has been half eaten at by bugs? This time a hard, black piece of plastic was in the spinach! Do better Earthbound Farms or Sam’s doesn’t need to carry your products.

Horrible experience.

I didn’t have a good experience with this product. I bit into a stink bug. Talk about traumatized. The rest of the spinach I washed and stored in the freezer for later use. When used again and I cooked, these white grains appeared. I asked my mom did she stick the spatula that maybe she used for the rice. She said no. I didn’t make rice so I did not dip my spatula in the rice. Traumatized again because all I’m thinking of is maggots. Also I didn’t see them until the spinach thawed out in the pan.

I always buy this product. The last 3 times have been horrible. The lettuce is wilted and bugs inside. No way it's triple washed like it states. My spinach states best but 6/26 today is 6/22. Better than last time when I had to throw the entire box at because of bugs

Quality has deteriorated in 2019

Used to buy this every 2 weeks. Now,quality is really poor. Lots of stems and old leaves hidden in the leaves. Last 3 boxes have old and dry leaves, and garbage bits mixed in. Won't buy these anymore. Supplier must think we aren't worth good quality anymore.

LESS SPINACH plus PRICE increase for this product.

STOP RIPPING us off!! There is less spinach and a much higher price. I eat this as my daily vegetable so I know what I am talking about. The package is NOTICEABLY less spinach and it increased in price $.68 per package. I have to buy more and I am paying more.
