We looked at hundreds of different playsets before deciding on the Grayson Peak. It had a variety of features, slides, rock wall, swings and a hideout. It contains many of the features that higher priced models have. Negatives: Plan on it taking you longer than 8 hours. I had air tools and electric screwdrivers with 3 people and it took us over 12 hours and I am a handy dude! The BUILT app is good for assembly however.

Even though she just turned 2, she's been climbing all over and absolutely loves the tree house area!! Her older cousins have also come in like a tornado and it's taken the beating with not even a scratch!! It even withstood 2 hurricanes back to back with no damage (while our neighbors playset was leveled to rubble).

My little one has been enjoying this swing set. For those worried about the assembly I found the instructions easy to follow. A good tip is the sort all the same parts together and neatly lay them out on the yard before you start. Having a power drill or impact also speeds up the assembly. Overall I felt that it was decent quality wood and hardware. The only thing I did not like was the rope ladder. It was difficult to tie that down firmly and it’s just so flimsy to climb. Not great for younger kids.

My husband and I took about 2 days to put together and as long as you are organized and lay all the pieces out (keep the screws and bolts in their bags and lay them out the the box) then everything should go together smoothly! I do recommend having a good drill, we had just gotten a new one that helped immensely. Our kids love it and want to swing outside everyday! Best Black Friday purchase ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last spring and spent several days putting it together by myself. The directions weren’t always clear and one board was not the correct size, but otherwise was rather easy to assemble. It’s sturdy and has all the features I wanted for my child’s play set. My son calls it his pirate ship, given the steering wheel, so I added a flag bracket and pirate flag. The bottom area is perfect for a small sandbox. I also like that I can switch out other swings easily. There is a rock wall and staircase to enter the fort, and it would be fun to see if there are more holds to add or to change up the rock wall to challenge my son as he gets more comfortable with climbing. Overall very happy with this product given the price.

It took 3 of us to assemble it, there are so many parts.luckily the instructions are pretty clear. It will be nice to have prefilled holes on the slide. The set looks really good and the kids love it. I stained it with tung oil and the color turns out pretty good. Only downside of the set is : two pieces of wood chipped during the assembling process.

I bought this for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves it! Actually putting together the swing set was relatively simple, and we were all impressed with the overall look when it was completed! My granddaughter has already had countless hours of fun on this set with the multiple swings, slide, ladder, etc. Would highly recommend this product to whoever is looking for a durable and enjoyable swing set!

I was in the market for a playset for my toddler for months and after reading all the specs, details and reviews on each playset, it came down to Grayson Peak! And boy, I didn’t go wrong! It is much taller than most of the playset in the same category which is amazing since my toddler is already very tall so I know it will serve her for a long time. If you’re on the verge of buying it, BUY IT! You will not have any regrets. My husband put it up with his friend in altogether 7 hours. The putting together part is easy, it’s the reading of the instructions that takes time so maybe have a third person read it and just tell you what to put together so you don’t waste time.

This thing has been so much fun for our munchkin! Assembly was lengthy but totally easy with use of the 3D visual instruction guide! Definitely really happy with our purchase! (Note: we did decide to add a cedar colored coat of Thompsons water seal to lengthen the life of and to protect our purchase in this Florida sun! The color came out beautiful too…)

We looked at many play sets before deciding on this one. We used both the BILT app and written instructions when we assembled it. It was easy to build for fairly novice craftspeople. When the instructions say to be aware of the pilot holes this is critical for correct orientation. Also hammering in the bolt drivers ahead helps too. Much time was spent looking for the correct lumber and hardware. It would likely save time separating the pieces by alphabet and the hardware in numerical order ahead of time. We assembled in a day. It’s both sturdy and visually appealing and the kids have already had so much fun with it.
