Great product High Quality

Michelin tires have always stood for quality in my book. It's the only tire that I have owned that has never separated or had a quality defect and I have owned almost every brand during my 65 years of tire use. They may cost a little more up front but in the long run you get a safe and quality tire that you can depend on. Your return on investment is secur with Michelin.

good all around tire

I was looking for a mostly highway tire that would be quiet and get good gas mileage for my Dodge Durango. But, I did want to be able to get through light mud and some snow. This tire works perfect for that. I have had them for almost 20,000 miles and they still look almost like new, very little wear at all. My pickup is getting ready for tires, and on it I only need on road tread, but I will probably use the A/T 2 on it also.

Greaaaaaat Tires for my Tahoe!

I am extremely pleased with my Michelin LTX Tires. I purchased them for my late model 4x4 Tahoe. The ride and control out performs any other tire I have owned and installed on my Tahoe. I'll most definitely purchase Michelin SUV tires the next time around - which I expect will be after many enjoyable trips and miles.... signed, another satisfied Customer.

Excellent service life, quiet and serviceable.

I had a set of these on my Ford F350 for 70,000 miles. Probably 30,000 miles pulling a fifth wheel trailer, loading the rear axle close to the maximum weight. These tires were smooth, quiet and reliable. They were 10ply tires on a 1 ton 4WD truck, so I can’t say they were a delight to drive on, but as smooth as the LTX A/S I put on the truck next. The tires kept their balance between rotations. Had one flat tire the whole time we owned them. They performed fine in the mud and snow we had them in. They pulled us and the trailer out of a dirt road campground on the north rim of the GC, when all others were stuck and barely out of their campgrounds. I will buy them again.

Poor Longevity

These came on my brand new 2020 F350 DRW with the 17" wheels, I have bald tires in the rear at 4 months and 38k miles. VERY disappointed. I previously had these same tires on my 2017 F350 in the 20" setup, again, brand new truck right of the lot, I was getting an average of 76k miles out of 3 different sets, I couldn't have been happier with them; but this mess that I'm in right now isn't right, 38k miles in 4 months!

reply from Consumer Care

We understand the LTX A/T2 tires on your 2020 F350 DRW did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

The name should be Michelin "Platinum"

Buying a 2010 Ford F150 Platinum 4x4 I would expect to have the best quality tires on this superior vehicle. The tires that came from the manufacturer were ninety percent used by thirty thousand miles. After exploration of research on quality tires to increase my size, fuel savings and most of all least amount of road noise, I chose Michelin LTX AT2 275/65/20. After ten thousand miles the tires look as new as the day I purchased them, while improving my gas mileage and most of all not having to turn the volume up on my radio. I would highly recommend the tires to go on all trucks if you want the best! Black Platinum

70,000mi and Still Going!

I bought my first set of Michelin tires in 2002 and have bought nothing else since. I bought these LTX AT2 for our 2008 Kia Sorento EX 4X4, and 70,000 miles later, they are still going strong. In fact, I have just ended a 4,000 mile book tour across the United Stated towing a 24' travel trailer. It appears I have 3,000 to 5,000 miles left before it will be time to replace them. As with all the Michelin tires I have bought in the past, these have exceded my expectations! I have used these in snow, mud, gravel, and cross country RV trips all with success!

Prairie Tough Tire

We have run these tires on our 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel Truck for 4 years and have put 52K miles on them in that time, and love them. We regularly drive across 7 miles of Prairie to access the river on our property to hunt and camp and they perform great. They are much quieter on the highway than were the OEM tires and they have no problems when we tow our 14K Horse trailer. Excellent value! We will replace these with the same tires when that time comes.

Michelin...The Name Says It All!

Another loyal customer. Just replaced a set of LTX A/T2's with the exact same tires on our Tahoe Z-71. Michelin tires are an investment and do cost more (as many have noted). But then sometimes you actually get what you pay for. They've earned my confidence in their superior products over many years. Frankly, I wouldn't trust my family's safety to anything less.

Montana Weather

I bought the LTXA/T2 tires for my Jeep because in Montana we have extremes of weather that require a superior tire. At Christmas time we drive into the mountains close to town and find ourselves on roads that vary from dry to ice to snow packed to deep snow. My Michelin tires do the job for those varied conditions. In the summer our weather can get up to 100 degrees and in that weather we may end up pulling our camper over a steep mountain pass as we head to a lake camp site. Having Michelin tires gives me a sense of security that is much appreciated. We don't put a lot of miles on our tires each year but the miles we do drive need a good tire such as the LTXA/T2.
