I have used the Michelin LTX A/T's for about 3 years and found them to be an excellent tire. I drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle and they are very good in deep snow e.g. such as the one that crippled trans- portation during Xmas 2009 snowstorm in Omaha, NE. I moved about very well and never once was stuck. I saw many immobilized vehicles. I also travel from Denver, Co to Phoenix, AZ through the Salt River Canyon and the tires provide excellent ride and traction on the curvy mountain highway. Haven't really done any heavy duty off-road 4 wheeling, but they provide excellent traction and ride when pulling my 17 1/2 foot boat on dirt roads to the lake and out of the water up some steep boat ramps.

The snow was just starting to fall when I went to get my new tires. The roads were pretty greasy when I started back home after having them installed. I just got up to 35 mph when a car pulled out in front of me. I was to close to brake so I swerved around the car and I was very surprised at the amount of control I had. I played with the braking and traction as I continued home. I am extremely pleased.

I am a volunteer Firefighter and get called out in all weather conditions,it's great to know that I can trust that I can get to the station to help others in need. Not only are they a great tire in snow and wet pavement but I can be confident off the road and down some rough lanes. These Michelin tires are also much more quiet than my previous tires and hold the road better. My wife and I were considering selling the vehicle before we changed to Michelin tires because of the ride, but when we put on the Michelin tires it made a world of difference.

I use these, oversized a bit, on my 06 Honda Element. They are excellent for the street and highway driving I do most, but when I get off the paved road a bit, they really shine. They keep me right where I need to be. Also, I have gotten over 100k on a set. Those results may not be normal, but if you take care them, they will take care of you - for a long time!

I love my A/T2 tires from Michelin. I currently have 43,000 miles on them and will go another 20,000 miles easily. I've never had any problems with them what so ever and the ride great & quiet. Plus, I've never gotten stuck in the snow, mud or beach!!!

I've had good and bad luck with tires over the years, not discriminate to brand. But Michelin & Me got a good thing going! Purchased the A/T 2s in Nov.'07 for my 2005 Lariat. Driven in all weather from Florida (rain) to N.Dakota(snow) to Calli(mud/snow). I've used the tires for the purpose intended & have had great success. With "NORMAL" driving habits, just turned 80K in Sept. of this yr. These tires were not cheap,but It's been $$$ back in my pocket since 40-50K. My intent was to get as much wear as possible out of them. Rotate every 5K (-ish), and spin balance every 10K. I will definitely re-shoe with the A/T2s. I do see very slight cracking from age, but still have plenty of tread left. I'm good for another 10K, but watch them closely now & wont go any further than that. Pros: -handle & brake well on wet hwy -comfortable ride -they dont throw rocks -roll quiet down the hwy Cons: -no promotion for this tire. I'm thinkin' it's price. Dealers are more motivated to sell quantity over quality. -tires are rated for 80psig...ride's a little rough. Dropped to 68psig. Smoother ride without compromise in performance. That's my review. I bought a 2016 Truck and these tires came stock and currently has 21000 miles on it. I was driving on a very well maintained, highly used dirt road with an ATV in the bed of the truck. My rear right tire went flat and the tire shredded before I realized what had happened and was able to stop. It appeared to me that it was not just a puncture in the tread, but that the tread ripped, and then sidewall fell apart. The next day the left rear tire was flat. I will never again use Michelin Tires. Glad this did not occur while towing my trailer.

This is my 3rd or 4th set of Michelins! I love them! This is the first time purchasing this model...but they are great. I'm a single mom of 2 girls....I do my research before I make a big purchase or invest my hard-earned money on anything....these tires provide a lot of bang for the buck!! I own a Nissan Xterra, and I do a lot of highway traveling as well as some off-road driving. These tires feel great on the highway, handling the road very well....and they feel great off road, handling the crazy deep sand along the lake on our weekend camping trips. The last set of Michelins on this vehicle were more of a "highway" tire, but even though these tires are more "aggressive", I haven't noticed a change in my gas mileage...but do have an easier time getting to some of our more remote favorite spots! It's great having tires on my vehicle that I can trust to carry my girls and me to wherever our next adventure leads us!!

These came stock on 2013 f250 and I got about 32K miles on them. I serviced my truck at the dealership and I had the premium maintenance program so they rotated on schedule. I gave them another shot and my second set has lasted 38K miles. I am about to replace them again and I am having a hard time justifying these again.

I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and the Michelin P265/70R18 A/T2's came standard on the vehicle for towing. The first set rode well, but only got 40,700 miles before the tread wear caused me to replace them. Michelin's were about the only tire on the market I trusted that came with a load range E, so I replaced the originals with the same tires. This set is at 37,000 and already are in need of replacement due to tread depth getting shallow. Both sets of A/T2's rode well, but the tread life is not overly impressive, especially for the price of the tires. There are new options out on the market with some pretty established tire brands. Trying a different brand next time around to see if they get better tread life with equal performance.
