This cut and grilled up excellently. Will definitely get again

It was tough for a filet removed 3 lb of fat that you do not eat it was disappointing

no question about great quality, but the price - what happened to the price up $5/per pound the a month????

This is THE BEST steak I’ve ever eaten in myself. It’s converted me from a “not so much of a meat person” to eating steak 4 times a week. I buy these all the time usually around 100$ and it lasts a month or two and it’s worth every single penny. I cut up and portion this meat, freeze it, and defrost the night prior to eating and marinate in a1 New York marinate and WOW. This steak literally FALLS APART like a juicy roast would. Soooooo good, definitely buy this!!! Especially if you like meat! I will NEVER spend a penny on another steak again. Taste better than filet mignon times 1,000 any day of the week! Once you buy this you’ll never buy a different cut again or any steak from anywhere else

Bought for Christmas as a special treat for 10 people. Have bought whole beef tenderloin (Choice and Prime) many, many times in last 10 years, first time at Sam's. Pros: Great value for Choice cut. Makes an impressive presentation. Cons: Once opened from package, the tenderloin appeared to have been "slashed" deep into the meat during processing. Not much care taken. Flavor - even for a Choice cut, the flavor was sub-par.

I was really disappointed with this tenderloin. So much fat and tough compared to loins I've had in the past. Even my step son asked if his steak was a filet... and no, it wasn't overcooked. Next time I'll try the trimmed loin.

What a waste of money!!! Bought this for an 85th Birthday Celebration and when cutting it up, it was so very fatty! I must have trimmed at least a pound of fat and even still, after cooking it, it was tasteless and not tender!!! Will be seeking a full refund!!! Horrible experience!

We’ve been buying these for years. Very impressive piece of meat! Must add orange juice and olive oil to your marinade.
