Great Tires!

When I bought my 07 Tundra these tires were on the truck. I was amazed by how smooth the driving was for a truck. even my friends complimented me on how they didn't think a truck could drive so smooth. I drive long distances and in many weather conditions, but I am impressed with how safe I feel driving in the rain. I got 55k miles out of this set and I bought my truck used. Not sure how many miles were on them before I bought. But I just bought another set and love the feel of new. I want also to say this is the first time I really did research on buying tires. In the past I thought about it to much only buying what was the best price. But I found my truck with the 20in rims limited my choices. And I was looking maybe of going from 275/55 R20 to 275/60 R20 to fill out my wheel well more. So when I went to the dealer I asked to see both and there was really not a greater amount of difference other than the base was slimmer on larger size. And I didn't like that.

Don't buy these tires.

I've run Goodyear tires on almost every car and truck that I've owned. I just had a new set of ASSURANCE WEATHERREADY's put on my 2013 Chevy Traverse today. That's how committed I am to Goodyear The LS-2's came on my Silverado High Country as standard equipment are the worst tires I have ever driven on. I've just crossed 40K miles and they are shot. From the beginning, the traction on both wet and dry surfaces is just awful. And don't even try on ice or snow. Just stay home.

Not the greatest tire i have had

tires developed a thumping noise after about 15000 miles. Rotated them and seemed to get better but the damage was done. Dealer indicated these need to be rotated every 5000 miles or the tires will do this on the car I have. Not impressed with them but did put a replacement set on at 52000 miles.

Not a happy customer

These tires came on my car when I purchased new. Both front tires have had to be replaced since the belts broke on two separate occasions had blow outs. One when there was only32,000 miles and the other when there was 34,000 mile. I am very disappointed

Not a great tire for the price

Tires ride pretty good. But, they wear very, very fast, even if you are rotating them correctly, and you "baby" the tires while driving (avoiding bumps, holes, etc.). When these wear out, I will not buy new Eagle LS-2 tires. I will replace them with something else (better).

These are the worst tires I have ever driven on.

I bought my Chrysler 200 convertible Limited and it came with the Goodyear LS 2 as the OEM tires. The tires seemed to ride fine between 30-50 mph, but when I drove above 50 mph the car started to shake as if it was out of alignment. I took the car back to the dealer at the end of the week and they rotated, balanced and performed an alignment and sent me on my way. Everything seemed fine. I was driving 70 mph which is the speed limit here in South Florida and then sped up to 75 mph and the car started to shake again. It was not as bad as it was the first time. Took the car back to the dealership and this time they replaced all of the tires. Been driving on these tires since then and still get the same shake between 65-75 mph. It is much less than before, but I am unable to fully enjoy the ride of my brand new car because I do not feel comfortable with these tires.

Good Handling, Quite Ride

The Goodyear LS2 tires were new on my 2015 Ford Fusion SE, which was purchased as a certified pre-owned vehicle from a Ford dealer. I have 35,000 miles on these tires and they ready for replacement. Other than only getting 35,000 miles from these tires, I have been very happy with their performance. My Fusion has a very quiet ride and good handling with these tires. These are 235/45/18 V performance tires, so I can only assume that the higher V speed rating is the reason for the lower mileage, since a V rated tire is intended for better traction and performance at the expense of longer tread life. From other reviews, it appears that this tire has much better tread life on trucks.

low mileage tires

The only thing I have to complain about is the mileage. These are the tires that came on the car new. I put a lot of miles on my car and most of them are highway miles. I've kept my tires rotated and balanced. In a year I've put just over 36,500 miles on the car and I'm having to replace the tires already. As far as all other aspects of them, they are great. If you're driving a lot I wouldn't recommend these tires.

Comfortable ride but why the irritating RED DOT on the sidew

I really like my Goodyear tires but the last set I got had a RED Dot on the outside side wall and it won't come off. I am VERY particular about my car and HATE this RED Dot which is about the size of a quarter, I use Tire Black to try and cover it up but it DOESN'T GO AWAY or diminish. What is the reason behind this RED DOT, used to indicate "blemished tires", surely that's NOT the case? First time I have had this happen and hope it is the LAST time. I realize this is a small irritating issue but looks like crap on a really clean, detailed car. Please Stop putting the red dots on the sidewalls. Thanks for reading this!!

Loved them then and still love them now

These tires were on my truck when I originally purchased the truck in 2015 so when I needed replacement, searched for something new. After looking for weeks, a friend asked why I was looking for something else since I loved my origninal tires. Made sense and glad I went back to what I knew.
