love it just that inside can't be clean when dirty

The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is that the image is not what you get-the image indicates the barrel has a spigot and a plug-it does not. You will need to find an appropriate sized spigot (the opening is standard sized, so you need to find a spigot that will fit a standard 5/8 in hose. The second opening (about mid way up the barrel) will need a spigot or plug, also 5/8in. The barrel has a bung plug on top and an opening with a screen for your downspout to drain. You will need a specialized tool to remove the bung, so I would only open it if it was absolutely necessary. The barrel appears to be new and clean (no weird smells or stuff sticking to the inside walls). All you need is two 5/8in spigots or a spigot and plug to get started harvesting your own water. I would recommend some plumber's tape for the spigots to make it secure and prevent leaks. You can paint the barrel or cover it in wood or whatever you want to do with it when it arrives. I have several rain barrels, some bought, some acquired, and this is the cleanest one I have received so far.

I like the barrel but all of the pictures on the Sam's website show it having a faucet and a plug for the other outlet. It came with just the barrel and that's all. Had to go and buy the other items.

The units arrived on time, has some assembly required. The sealing tape that came with the unit did not work since the fixture fittings were too tight. Also the fixtures came inside the tank which made me to unscrew the screen to extract the fixtures. While doing so there were also plastic shavings inside that took a while to clean. At the end, I spend time and more money on assembly, cleaning, and getting plumber seals in order to make them work. Was not ready out of the box as I thought it was.

BArrel in new condition. No leaks in installing the two supplied faucets (plumber's tape included). The only drawback is a lack of an overflow opening. A simple to it yourself step but it would be nice if it came with one from the manufacturer.

I ordered the Rain Wizard based on the great price and free shipping. Unfortuantly the procduct failed to meet my expectations. In my opion the barrel looks refurbished. The bottom was all scraped up with dirt ground into the scratches. There were white numbers and letters painted on the side from a stencil. I asked several coworkers if they thougth the product looked new and not one of them said yes. I called customer service and reported the issued. They sent a different Rain Wizard barrel to me and it had the exact same issues. This is what lead me to believe this item is refurbished product. Ultimatley the barrels were returned and my money refunded. Be careful ordering this product. If you actully get a new unused barrel then this is a steal of a deal. But, sometimes if it looks to good to be true than it probably is! The customer serviece was great and resolved all product issues.

Arrived used and missing parts. I understand that it is recycled, but it wasn’t even cleaned up before sending to us. There were no parts like a spigot or any instructions… I didn’t look at it long enough to see if I had to put holes in it by myself but at that point it wouldn’t have surprised me
