[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a full and very rich Wine.Dark in color. It has a nice mouthfeel to it with flavors of cherry pie,mocha coffee with a smooth layer of oak on the top. A silky finish. Yep I definitely recommend that you try this blend also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mondavi's Merlot is a great-tasting wine that is reasonably-priced. The taste is nice and fruity. I have tried other brands of merlots such as Leonetti and Hahn Estate and Mondavi's is comparably tasty.

U can definitely smell and taste the plum more so over the berries . Only thing I would trade is the after taste amd the level of strong it was when taking the first sip

I think it goes well with anything considering 3 of my favorite flavors exist with just a sip of this special treat. I like this wine while laying at the beach.

The taste of this wine definitely brought forth the barrel-aged flavor in the beginning, was smooth, and left a slight lingering aftertaste. I would say that the taste of this wine was the most strong of the 3, but it was still pleasant. I think this would pair wonderfully with steak or alone as a relaxing end-of-night drink! Overall, I enjoyed this wine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually not a fan of Merlot but this was a nice gift. Not to thick on the tongue it gives a hint of coconut but with a twinge of berries. Dry but not tongue popping dry. This would be good with beef .

I would most definitely recommend to anybody out there that likes this kind of wine. I would try again. I wished I would of paired it with a dessert.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well done! Opening the bottle you can immediately detect the aroma of plum, oak, tobacco and smokey fragrance. It is very dark in color without an overpowering fruit flavor. It is semi to dry in taste but does not have the "dry" after-taste. Definite hints of plum, smoke, and rum. Very smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rum Barrel-Aged Merlot has an aroma of fruitiness tones with a rum flavor floating on the palate over that of the Merlot. A beautiful blood red appearance and satisfying taste perfect for sipping alone or on a girl’s night in watching movies. I love the way the taste change in such a subtle way when eating this wine with dark chocolate. Hints of the Rum were gone and you were left with a smooth Merlot taste. To the contrary when paired with brie and fig jam on water crackers, the taste comes through as a little bolder The finish on its own was an enjoyable blend of rum and Merlot wine, for a unique sipping experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent of this wine did excite me, as I did get the slight scent of what I remember rum to smell like (haven't had it in a while). I did get a rum aftertaste, but not the type I was expecting! It reminded me of when, as a young 20-something year old, I decided to open up a bottle of bacardi and down some. Very strong taste! I do think i would like it more if I thought to chill it a little first. I will try to do that for next time!
