My kids and I put wheels on them and little Lego drivers and raced them. We found them to be surprisingly aerodynamic for an organic product. Think we may hit the National Banana Car circuit this summer. Little TJ says he wants to turn pro! What an exciting time to be alive! Hope this review helps someone debating on Orhanic vs GMO nanners.

"Natural Packaging" (vs. Organic labelling??)

..Not clearly labelled as "organic" as they had been in the past (could have been the employee picking wrong items?) - and incredibly damaged in store handling. One label stated "Natural Packaging" but we do not usually pay extra for organic in the office so that could be new norm..? ((no funky/chemical smell, so possibly organic, but not pleased overall )) PICK your own and you may be pleased. Two of ours were squashed and immediately tossed - at least a third more of each Bunch with very deep bruising likely to be tossed in a day - - Bad results for 4-bunch(12lb) purchase. OTHERWISE, mostly found taste/texture is good if you pick through -and lack of chemical smell big plus (..hope they are actually organic!?)

Very overripened

The bananas were over ripe turning brown. Never had this problem, so this is a first time. Second day i had to cook or dispose off them because They were starting to turn brown. I usually get them partially green. I dont know what happen, I buy at least twice a month. Unhappy

Organic is the best

The only thing I don’t like is that they are hard to open, even when they are ripe. I usually have to cut the top with a knife. And the color doesn’t really indicate ripeness. But this is standard with all brands of organic bananas I have bought. They are all difficult to open, and they all still have some green color when they are ripe. But organic bananas are alway cheaper at Sam’s, so I try to get them here.

Always taste great & ripen correctly

Thx for offering organic first of all! And these bananas that I eat every single day (1 in a smoothie and sometimes 2 just as a snack) always ripen from very green to yellow without molding 1st. Some bananas you buy green just go mushy and moldy and never ripen to yellow.

Terrible

What else can I say? Bought these bananas 2 weeks ago. They are still green and hard as a rock. Tried putting them in paper bag to speed up ripening process. Nothing. Cooked a couple in the oven until they were brown but were still hard as a rock. Will get my bananas elsewhere from now on.

False advertisement

I recently purchased “3lb” dole organic bananas but when I weighed them at home, they came in at 2lb 14.8oz. I was quite displeased with this finding and I will make it a point to weigh all of my produce from here on out. I question how many other times I have purchased produce from Sam’s that have been falsely advertised. This is a violation of weights and measures. I would upload a picture but the app isn’t allowing me.

Well, it’s a banana.

Well, it’s a banana. Same variety everybody else sells, sometimes only green ones available, sometimes they’re overripe. That’s just what happens when you depend on nature. But they’re great bananas! We make all kinds of things out of them to replace processed sugar (gotta let them get WAY ripe for that trick).

I prefer the Organic Bananas

They do taste better than the regular Bananas. I thought my wife was goofy when she expressed a preference for these... but a few times Sam's have been out of stock on the organic bananas and I can now taste the difference. I prefer the Organic Bananas
