I really love the quality of the organic bananas. They taste much better than the regular bananas because they're not very sweet and I am a diabetic so I love how the organic bananas taste. That's why I always get the organic banana bananas from y'all.

These were artificially ripened by ethylene gas. They are supposed to be organic. Apparently, they can still be organic and be artificially ripened. Do not buy. They are super stiff even if yellow and have a very strong synthetic smell. The smell is unpleasant and the texture is like a very unripe banana even if yellow.

WHOEVER LAST SHOPPED FOR ME 2 WEEKS AGO WHEN I HAD BANANAS ON MY LIST GOT PLANTAINS INSTEAD ! THEY ARE VERY GREEN %26 HARD STILL 2 WEEKS LATER , NOT HAPPY %26 THEY SHOULD PAY MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE GETTING OR WHOEVER MANAGES THE FRUIT %26 PRODUCE AT THE FARMINGTON MAINE LOCATION SHOULD MAKE SURE THINGS ARE LABELED CORRECTLY !!!!

We’ve been getting the organic bananas for quite some time. Lately they are abnormally large, which makes me think they are genetically modified. Now our order from yesterday came in and has green spots all over it. Tonight I realized there is a white fungus on the outer peel of the bananas. I am really disappointed in the quality.

Walmart, you need some sort of way to indicate what degree of ripeness is requested on perishable fruit. I am sick to death of buying bananas and getting them already speckled with brown spots and turning brown the next day. I buy mine with more green showing and wrap stems to help control ripening. My bananas today were actually greenish! Yay! However I have been receiving them where they are okay that day only or already speckled and brown. I use these for making breads, etc. I do NOT enjoy eating them. I have a freezer full of overripe bananas and have been throwing them away. I know many people like this, but I also know many others do not. I very much hesitate to buy produce at Walmart. I just threw away a trashcan full of produce only a week or so old from the produce drawer because it didn't come in in good shape to start with. This includes packaged goods. I have received greenish bananas only 2 times in the last five months. I didn't have this problem when I shopped and chose my own, but I can no longer do that most of the time.

This Is what I ordered: Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas, Bunch 74.0¢/lb, Qty 1 What I received: One lonely little banana. Not a bunch. Is this their first time shopping?!?! Guess we each get one bite. Or make the worlds smallest loaf of banana bread! Really???

These bananas were the smallest I’ve ever seen ! The bunch fit in my hand. Idk why the produce size for pick up is always the smallest or worse, almost ripe or rotten ever time I get it And what an inconvenience because I needed them for a recipe so after all that I still had to go back in the store for more bananas . I was very disappointed, So better 🙏🏻

Huge bananas. 12 inch long!!! Seriously disgusting and not healthy in my educational experlence. One look made me feel sick ! Huge bananas have poor taste !!! Prob chemically grown. We eat small bananas only. And you get stuck with them as not returnable ! Buyers beware ! These are Awful !!

I’m trying to eat more and more organic fruit because they have less chemicals. You can really tell the difference in the taste between these and regular bananas. Bananas have a lot of minerals that are good for you potassium and I like them because they’re self contained snacks.

As long as the shopper picks a green bunch, these are great bananas - sweet with slight tanginess. Full of potassium, too. Ready to consume in a day or two, but the whole bunch ripens quickly, so eat up. Like Chiquita would sing "you can eat them in a salad, you can eat them in a pieyie".
