These are the strangest bananas. They haven't ripened at all in a week, they are hard as rocks and don't peel except in layers. I made the mistake of tasting one thinking maybe they were just not like a normal banana, but the taste was HORRIBLE. I had to go brush my teeth and gargle to get the taste out of my mouth.

Good banana, bananas, healthy bananas, and I seem to get bananas that are a little green and that’s what I prefer. I even put that on my order because bananas goes bad so fast anymore. If you get them a little green, they last so much longer. I recommend these.

Even though 3 bunches were purchased, they were already yellow, so the freshness was less than what was desired. They began getting black spots on them within 2 days and were beyond fresh in under a week. Pickers should be sending along green bananas, so they have time to ripen rather than 3 fully ripened bunches as a single individual cannot be expected to eat 21 bananas in a week.

The organic bananas I have purchased %26 consumed...,many a time 😏🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌, have been very tasty. Each one, tastier than the last. 👨‍🍳💋 I enjoy them 🍌's %26 look forward to purchasing %26 consuming more of the tasty organic bananas. Oh, and I soak the peels in water for 2 to 3 days to make organic banana plant fertilizer. And then I compost the peel. Thought I'd 😉😉 slide that one in there 😉🍌. Happy shopping Y'all!

These bananas offer a good taste for value, and usually come either unripened slightly or fully ripened. It's a cool fact that they deliver them with the stems wrapped to prevent them from going bad faster! While organic and inorganic are not the same, there's actually a difference in taste! I suggest trying it out for yourself once the banana is fully yellow.

I've had good success with these bananas. :) Any organic fruit will spoil more quickly than fruit treated with preservatives or GMO or whatever it is that makes it last longer 'embalming' it, but organic is worth it for my toddler. ...I just wish he liked bananas. XD So far I can't get him to touch much fruit or vegetables unless they are in something else. Oy. I thought the bananas were sweet %26 tasty, but I can't eat bananas except nibbles due to IBS, and the hub won't eat most fruits %26 veggies. XD So not the happiest banana story but I still thought they were tasty and would have been excellent in baking.

Upon arrival the bananas were slightly green and although I felt that was good because they would last longer as they ripen however, I wanted a banana right away for my smoothie, so I took a chance and was surprised the banana was sweet and my smoothie was tasty.

This is forth time my bananas won’t get ripe. They have not been gassed properly. Which is sad because I love them in my smoothies. The picture below is after a week They also ate hard and have a stem growing out the middle when you bite into them

I’m obsessed with hard green bananas. I’m so loving how Walmart is always procuring the greenest ones! They obviously last longer too. I’m not a fan of the slimed soft ones. When they are green I get a specific separate benefit nutrition wise. When they ripen you get different nutritional benefits. So I’m always getting them from Walmart because I get an option of what I want or need as my dietary needs change! I’ve been purchasing my nanas from here for almost 3 decades Woohoo!

this last order is the best so far for the year...very tasty. tried the washing with cold water trick to extend ripening and it works.....keep bananas on stem and rinse bunch under running water...prop up on counter to air dry...cover stem end with plastic wrap if not present and enjoy for days
