Sorry - to the reviewers who complain that the bread went moldy after a few days, my question is - have you ever baked bread from scratch? It must be used within days or it gets dry and/or moldy. I bake bread all the time and am sad to see it go moldy, but that happens fast. We either eat it or freeze it! Fresh bread (not the pre-packaged more shelf-stable breads) needs to be used ASAP or frozen. I've bought this Sam's Club bread for years and I've used it for the best French toast, bread pudding, etc. Delicious! Fresh and very reasonably priced. Look at the date and use it right away! Buyers, don't beware! Just use fast!

I totally agree with the other reviewer. I am preparing sandwiches for a wedding & will be making a special trip to Sam's to use several loaves of this wonderful tasty bread!!

The bread must have been old it had mold on-it the day after I purchased it . Given that I have purchased before and had no problems, I would purchase again.

You old bread was one of the best breads you could buy on wholesale price the new one you guys implemented I don't know what to compare it with but it is everything but not bread brakes crumbles unevenly baked different than color inside from black to white it doesn't make any sense

The date on the bread was the date I bought it but 3 days later the bread had black fuzzy stuff on it. If I hadn't thrown my receipt away I would have brought it back. That was my first and last time buying that bread from there. Very disappointed.

One week ago was 1.98 a good buy for sure. Bread is good. It was a good deal, purchased it at least once a week. From one week to another doubled. Yes Doubled!! This is ridiculous. No longer a good buy. Shame on Sams Club for doubling price. I understand everything went up but to do this price hike too it’s customers , no way!!! Will be buying from my local supermarkets .

It was already stale the day I picked it up and moldy two days later.

This bread looked beautiful, but it had mold on it by the second day. This is the second time lately that has happened. Maybe in the store it was placed with cold food and had condensation form inside the wrapper. Disappointing!

did curbside pickup. The bread they gave me was given to me on the “sell by” date (4 days after it was freshly baked) and it was stale and awful! Very disappointed! I love Sams fresh bread but I will not again get it for curbside pickup.

Price was $1.82 just months ago. Price was $1.98 just a few weeks ago. Price I paid last week was $3.98. No longer a good buy since local super markets in-store bakeries are a far better buy.
