TAKE NOTE!!!!!

Wow!!! My 235/50/r17's have 78,782 miles on them...I rotate every second oil change and was very suprised that only two of the tires really needed to be replaced. I decided to do all four since they recommed that we do all of them. Ride, comfort, and durability far out way any expense of the tires.

Only last about 30k miles

I am currently on my third set of tires, and none have lasted more than about 30k miles. Originally installed set that came with my car was replaced on 10/7/2015 at 28,247 miles. Second set was replaced on 5/10/2018 at 51,742 miles. My third set needs to be replaced soon, and i am only at 79,623 miles.

Long term review 4.5 years, 51k miles honda accord

Orginal tires on 2014 honda accord hybrid. Tires are quiet for the first 2.5-3 years, noise gets louder as it wears around 42k. Not happy in wet weather seems to hydroplane in real wet weather in california, new and older. Wear is good and still have tread at 51k but looking to change tires this winter to another version of michelin. Gas mileage average i saw no significant difference from what the vehicle new car sticker stated. Overall ride intially are great and smooth and fair. Lightly stiff ride and firm great traction on dry roads and corners good.

Amazing Performance

I own a Lexus SUV and when I needed a new set of tire, the service rep recommended Michelin Energy. They were more expensive than other available replacements but I took the advice and could not believe the difference in handling and lesser tire noise. It was like driving a different vehicle! Much more responsive, the care drive like it's eager to go. "Energy" is a good name - - the SUV feels energized - - rolls so much easier, turning is more responsive and the quiet ride is a joy. I certainly recommend this tire to interested buyers!

Good tires: 97,000 on 2 sets

We have had no trouble with 2 sets of these tires on a 2011 Fusion. 97,000 miles and we drive 2 miles of gravel each day, sometimes more gravel. The Michelins were worth the extra $150 or so versus most brands that I usually get just 35,000 miles out of.

Junk

Not happy with the tires. I have 4300 miles on my Bolt and I am having issues as many other consumers. These tires are not good in water and I live in Seattle. makes a bumping noise and I feel a thud like a rock is stuck in the tread. Had them checked and no rock. Going to spend my money on the cross Climate 2 tires and hope to remedy these junk tires.

Johnny, no doubt that is frustrating. We'd suggest that you take your vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection of the tires. Please ask the retailer to call us at 866-866-6605 while you are there.

Bad tires

Do used tires were OEM equipment on my toyota Camry. I only have 26,000 miles on them and I need new tires. I would never recommend these tires to anyone not when they advertise them for 65,000 miles and you don’t even get half that. No to decide what brand of tire I’ll buy.

Horrible on Grooved Pavement

These came with my new Honda Insight. These give a nice, smooth quiet ride, BUT the tires are horrible on grooved pavement and grated bridges. It's often referred to as "groove wander." They bounce back and forth significantly. I can't even believe the engineers didn't scrap this design for how poorly they handle on grooved pavement. I couldn't care less if I get 1-2 MPG more (yes, that's all the "energy saving" benefit you'll get, the instability on grooved pavement isn't worth it.

I always feel confident ...

I always feel confident when buying Michelin's that they will provide the best bang for the buck in wear and safety. I keep my vehicles for many years, and know that I can count of a long life of the tires with Michelin. I never worry about the tires with road hazards or road conditions; Michelin's have always given me peace of mind.
