3 years and over 55,000 miles

This set of Goodyear Wrangler SR-A P265/65R18 tires did a decent job as OEM equipment on the Silverado, lasted 3 years and over 55,000 miles. Mostly highway miles in a northern climate, but they rode nicely and were very quiet for a truck. Performed some towing of a scout trailer, and some gravel roads camping and on construction sites. Looking to replace with the same model because I expect to continue the work related highway driving.

Great tires

I have used Goodyear tires on my ram trucks since 1995 Have never had less than 50000 miles plus . I now have 50K miles on my 2013 ram truck and it is finally time to change them. They have gone to 65K on some of my older trucks, but they were E rated and this truck has a lower rated tires, but still.has tread. Keep up the good work Goodyear.

longest lasting tires i've ever owned

Every 3rd oil change I rotate and rebalance my tires I now have 94000 thousand miles on my 2015 Chevy Silverado HD 2500 Z71 Duramax with the original Goodyear Wrangler SRA LT265/60R20 tires. I also pull a 37ft fifth wheel camper with this set up and have never had an issue with weight and just amazed at how long theses tires have lasted especially on a 4X4. I believe they'll last another 10K but I intend to purchase a new set of Goodyear Wrangler SRA LT265/60R20 before it snows. Thanks for making a good, safe and long lasting tire...Dave UAW

Not impressed

These are the original equipment tires on my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. At 25,000 miles the tires are used up and are ready to be replaced. I've also had them get loose in wet conditions. I'll be installing a new set of Goodyear tires, but it won't be this model.

no smooth ride at highway speeds

Have almost 80k miles on my 2012 Sierra Denali 2500HD and have gone through ten tires so far. Two tires had belts separating, one at 1500 miles and another at 50,000 miles. The first was replaced and the second was replaced with a new set, not because of worn tread, but because of more possible tire issues with the original. Balance and ride at highway speeds has been an issue always, since the complete new set at 50,000 miles, the problem is actually worse. At 73,000 miles two more tires replaced because they can not be smoothed out with the "road force" balancing. Ride vibration is now better but not correct. I have almost always used another brand and get around 70-72,000 trouble free miles per set, trucks or cars. I have never had to go through so many visits to a tire dealer and so many tires to end up with the same problem that is only a little better .

Definitely not even a Good - Year worth of tire......

Tires came new on my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Rotated every 5k. Barely 16k on the truck. All highway miles. Easy driving. And they won't even make 20k. I have already been shopping for NON Goodyear tires well ahead of the winter/rainy season. Can't drive in the rain due to no traction. And don't even think about merging onto a wet freeway, they just come loose under acceleration. And winter....good luck as well. Love the truck, but I suppose GM got a real good deal on a terrible product which is essentially the only complaint I have about my new pickup.

Very Good Tire

Put these on my GMC P/U when I switched to 20" wheels. Got heavy rains within a week. Excellent traction on the wet desert roads. Surprisingly quiet with the medium aggressive tread pattern. Good traction on un-improved (dirt, gravel) roads. It remains to be seen how well they will wear on roads in 120 degree summer roads, but other Goodyears I've previously had held up very well.

You need a better tire in this size for gravel!

I have bought these tires in the past and had trouble with them. I drive 16 miles a day on gravel, I got 4 one year , used them till I could afford new one's, got the new one's and right off started having the same problems, so I switch to a taller tire cause they didn't have anything else in my size. I went to a 235/16 Wrangler. Never had a problem that is what I run on my 2002 Ram. Went back to the 225's and I have less than a thousand miles on them and already having troubles. Please make a Wrangler in 225's PLEASE!!!!

Great Tire!!! Great Traction and Handling. Good Mileage t

Great Tire and superb handling, mileage, traction and tire wear!!! Love the tires and will purchase them when these are in need of replacement. After 15,000 the tread depth hasn't changed since the truck was new. I have purchased them for my other vehicle too!

Other than good traction, I have nothing good to say about t

Horrible tires! Dealer recommended these for my Nissan Armada when I went in for an oil change at 30k miles, and other than good traction, I have nothing good to say about these. I only got 18 months and 35,000 miles on these tires--which are rated for 50k miles. They were difficult to balance and were constantly shimmying at high speeds or fast braking. I'm an average driver who drives equally on highway and city, and live in Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex where we are without extreme weather. I wouldn't ever purchase these tires again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
