Vibration & noise

These tires came with the purchase of a new 17' Chevy Silverado 2500HD. The truck vibrated really bad and was taken in for service. After Road Force balance 2 were found to be out of spec and were replaced with new ones. The vibration was still present so another service visit was done and a 3rd tire was found out of spec and replaced. The vibration was lessened but now one of the tires produces a high pitch oscillation noise that is ear piercing with the windows down. The sad thing is GM won't replace the tires with another style or brand.

I am not happy with these tires!

I drive gravel roads quite often, I have blown 3 tires in a month! These tires should never have been put on a light truck application! They have left me on the side of the road and I have been late for work because of blow outs! Not impressed at all with the overall performance of the Goodyear wrangler SRA!!

Poor choice for a vehicle that will be used in wet condition

These are the original tires supplied by Ford on my F-150. I ordered the optional off-road package. These are in no way designed for any sort of off-road, not even a gravel driveway. Their wet traction on pavement is very poor, acceleration, braking and cornering are all severely compromised when the pavement is wet. I had a puncture that cut the casing and ruined the tire. It was caused by gravel stones. The tire service shop guy took one look and said that these tires were no good and most of his customers simply threw them out and replaced them with better quality tires. He had several customers that week with Ford pickups and flats with these tires for the same reason. One guy had two flats at the same time! To prove the point, he took me outside his shop and pointed to a pile of these same Good Year Wrangler SRA's in the same 18 inch size as mine along with another pile of 20 inch ones. These were all tires taken off and replaced. There was lots of tread left on all of them.

80K on a set

These tires came on a new 2011 Ford Ranger. I drive 50 miles per day. Presently have 78,000 miles on the vehicle and will probably need to be replacing them soon. Want to hold out for the 80,000 mark though if I can. Will put the exact tires back on when they are replaced. Can't be unhappy about the service I have gotten out of them. Thanks, Joe

Don't buy these tires

Tires came on my new 2013 Ram 1500, tire have 22K miles and need to replaced. I also have taken them to the shop three time because the tires keep losing air and the tire center can't fine out why. There has to be a problem with certain lots of these tires.

50,000 miles is pretty accurate.

I replaced the original tires at 49,000 miles. They would have made it another 1,000 miles or more. But, one was punctured and needed to be replaced. So, I went ahead and bought a set. There was a very noticeable difference in handling/breaking with new tires.

Horrible tires! Dealer recommended these for my Nissan Armada when I went in for an oil change at 30k miles, and other than good traction, I have nothing good to say about these. I only got 18 months and 35,000 miles on these tires--which are rated for 50k miles. They were difficult to balance and were constantly shimmying at high speeds or fast braking. I'm an average driver who drives equally on highway and city, and live in Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex where we are without extreme weather. I wouldn't ever purchase these tires again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

great tire until...

i used to be a tire specialist, and did some tire compound testing with a motorsports company in nc. i have seen a lot of things with tires. but i have never experienced a brought to market item that had such little qc... in a regulated market. these tires are 5 months old per the date on the sidewall, and 12,000 highway miles are already on them. but ALL 5 TIRES INCLUDING THE SPARE have the belts separating. and goodyear doesnt have the decency to attempt to do anything about it. neither does the dealership. good tire. until its NOT.

great highway tire poor snow ice tire

quiet tire with weak sidewalls and poor traction in ice and snow. rides very smooth and quietly on the road, but winter traction with wet snow ice worse than average abd i wouldnt offroad these at all. they wore out in 40000 KM so life span is not great. will purchase either wrangler duratracs or BFGoodrich AT KO2's will sacrifice quiet for tough long lasting

There is nothing good about these tires - Jeep owner

My Jeep Patriot came with these tires and they lasted only for 30k miles. I purchased new Goodyear SR A hoping this time it will last longer. I was wrong. It came only 30,000 miles. Apart from mileage, the road noise is terrible in this tires. I installed Michelin Tires and I can feel the difference. This is the worst tires you can get for your vehicle. Stay away from these tires.
