Very heavy on the garlic and tomatoes little to acid tasting. Like the thick texture of the sauce, isn't runny like other marinara sauces. Definitely better than other brands of marinara sauces. If you on the Keto , Vegan or Paleo diet, you will absolutely love YO Mama's Pasta sauces will all natural, no artificial preservatives. Very low sodium, no sugar good products for eating healthy. Since I didn't use the entire jar. I divided into single serve portion and froze to use later with ravioli, spaghetti, etc. Also can be used as a dipping sauce. I didn't rate 5 star due to the price of the product. Really, $9.99 for 24 ounces.

I bought a jar of the original marinara sauce to try because I was making dinner for my mother in law who is on a low salt diet. Yo Mama's original sauce was the lowest salt sauce I could find and I wasn't sure how it would taste, well we tried it yesterday when I made chicken Parmesan everyone loved it! I will differently be buying more and recommending it to friends. Thank you for making such a delicious low salt sauce.

Great Flavor. There really is nothing bad to say about it. It is exactly what is described. It is a pasta sauce that just taste great. It is a flavor you would immediately love and keep going back to... You cant really describe it, but I just prefer this over all the other brands... It just taste very very good!

That way you will soon have the reputation of the best Italian cook , famous for using all fresh ingredients. My first test of this sauce was simple. I browned boneless chicken thighs ,poured Yo Mama over the meat in the fry pan. I cooked about 45minutes ...served over noodles . No additional seasoning needed . Company perfect meal that couldn't be easier ! I can now serve versatile meals that will suit diet preferences of any guest. It is Keto and Paleo friendly. No sugar added too ! This sauce was impressively flavorful . without any of the usual seasonings like garlic overpowering the total balance. One word description....fresh

One of the tastiest and lowest in sodium spaghetti sauce on the market. I add tomato paste and spices to it and can have 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of sauce! Pasta is 0 sodium so I can also add sourdough French bread. That's a great treat when you're sodium restricted.

I got it after searching low carb sauces whilst intoxicated. Tried today after comparing the nutrition info to favorites I assumed were high carbs....long story short, this sauce is not as good and had more carbs. Kinda sad I bought it. They have excellent service and care about their business however. I am willing to try something different from them.

This sauce is delicious. I love making my own Marinara because I am of Italian descent and love cooking, but most of the time I simply am too busy. This sauce meets my high standards and I know I can serve it to my family without any guilt because of it's high-quality ingredients. Kudos to Yo Mama's Foods for giving busy moms a way to provide nutritious and satisfying home-cooked meals without having to spend hours in the kitchen.

It does not taste like Prego it's more like real tomato taste. That can be a good thing but if you need to spice it up you can add garlic powder, pepper, basel, and parmesan cheese. Mix it fit a more italian yet still low carb sauce. Don't use to much as tomato is not keto friendly.

This is the first marinara I have found that is both absolutely delicious and completely compliant with my diet-- I use this on numerous dishes, from traditional meat sauce to tossing with veggies to stuffed peppers... it's a staple in my kitchen now. If you're wanting a product that is versatile and delicious for your paleo or keto diet (or even if you're not on a diet), this marinara is a must!

This is the closest to my homemade pasta sauce that I have found on the market today. Chunks of tomatoes, fresh italian seasonings, with lots of added garlic makes the flavor of this sauce stand way above the rest! Well worth the price to not only to serve on my dinner table, but also to send as gifts to friends.
