[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just prepared a delicious spaghetti and meatballs dinner using this spaghetti sauce. Yo Mamma’s sauce is very fresh tasting. It tastes like you made homemade sauce. You can see and taste the different ingredients. I think it’s seasoned well. The only change I would make is that I would add a tiny bit of sugar. I think sugar helps to mellow out the tomatoes, but if you like stewed tomatoes you will love this sauce. It says it’s low sodium, but I did not miss the salt at all. I would definitely recommend this sauce for it’s the freshest jarred sauce I’ve ever tasted. Very good!

When you open the jar, you cam smell the fresh ingredients, like you had just cut up the fresh tomatoes, and crushed the garlic and crumbled the basil yourself. I was impressed, and it looked pretty right out of the jar. The tomatoes were in little chunks that did not loose their color when I mixed it with ground beef and heated it to boiling. It was very tasty when put over pasta, and still wonderful the next day for leftovers. I highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this sauce to make spaghetti and meatballs for my son. He loves spaghetti and eats it at least once per week. He has his favorites among the jarred sauces, but is always willing to try new ones. He did not like this sauce, declaring it as "too organic" and bland. I saved half of the sauce and froze it, to be used for another meal. My son said he might be willing to try it, again, but only if I add salt and other seasonings. I do not like spaghetti, neither the pasta, nor the sauce, so did not taste it. Still, I would recommend this sauce to friends to try, especially those who are Keto or Paleo. They might like it.

I read the reviews before making this purchase and I was excited to try it. It looked amazing and I could see the little bits of vegetables that were used. The taste was a bit mild but I expected that because of the sugar. The one things that I can not get over and was the smell. It reminded me of vomit. It was to the point I couldn't stomach it anymore.

My brother originally got me this item as a gift and I loved it so much I bought more! I love the name because it's funny. Brings me back to my youth in the 1970's! But seriously, this sauce is stupendous! It contains keto and other ultra nutritious ingredients plus there is no added sugar and the taste is divine. I highly recommend this pasta sauce as your go to sauce for pasta, marinara, chicken and anything else your creative chef mind has in store. Absolutely yummy!

Not Happy!! I was given this item as a substitution and charged an additional $3.00 dollars. I should have been paid to try it. No one in my house liked it. It was flavorless. Thank God for garlic bread, it held us over until our real dinner could arrive.

I served it as a pasta sauce over Zucchini noodles topped with grated Parmesan cheese and it was very tasty. I'm one of those cooks who always adds her own touch to store bought products, but I used it straight from the jar without adding anything to test the flavor of the sauce as it was made. I was surprised how good it was and started thinking of all the different casserole type dishes I could use it in. For a simple, easy dish, I would just pour it over chicken breasts, top with cheese and bake. Simple, healthy and tastes good. This will become a staple in my pantry and I highly recommend you try it and see what great recipes you can imagine.

I used this sauce for a keto marinara I made and it was perfect!! Not too overpowering at all! It was a nice and subtle, yet smooth tasting sauce to add to marinara. I also used it for my chicken pasta dish and it also made that taste so good!! I love that it's smooth too so that my marinara or pasta wasn't chunky with the sauce! So good!

I ordered this product and received it so poorly packaged the jars were jostled to the point that the seals broke and the contents were all over inside the box. Nothing but a big mess! Yo Mama's read my correspondence and immediately asked to send me another set of sauces. We are using the sauce for our Keto meals and it is zesty and tasty. If you are looking for a sauce with a bit of kick, this is it! Great for plainer ingredient recipes to add decent flavor.

This sauce is YUMMY! I wasn't expecting the texture but it it is pumped full of flavor. I usually add spices to my jarred sauces and all I did was add a little red pepper flakes for more kick! What made it 4 stars is that the crushed tomatoes made it less of what I am used to as saucelike (less liquid maybe) and didn't cover the pasta like I wanted. I found myself adding more than I usually do to cover the pasta. It is very healthy sauce so it makes me very happy! Would order again. I am using my second jar and mixing it with ground turkey!
