I really liked the flavor and texture of this sauce. Great alternative if you’re watching sugar intake

Threw it away after trying a couple spoonfuls. Just not tasty. Will stick with Rao’s!!! Much much better!!

A truly great tasting sauce. The quality ingredients and lack of anything artificial really show. Perfect as is or as starter for other recipes.

Surprised the sauce taste was very good. Purchased due to change in eating habits and liked it. This is second time I bought it and will buy again.

It’s okay to be honest , nothing special however it taste just as fake as all the other jars! Jersey gravy is way better . Not worth the money

Let me start that I do NOT eat pasta, so I cannot comment on that.I use this sauce in a lot of recipes such as hunter's stew (aka. "bigos"), Breton's beans, and sausages (aka. Cocos de Paimpol, CUISINÉS À LA BRETONNE, or "fasolka po bretońsku"), soups, and meat sauces.I love the strong flavor and ALL REAL INGREDIENTS.I have re-ordered a box of them a few times and keep a few jars on hand in my pantry. I wish the jars were wide-mouth for future re-use, but that is a minor discrepancy.You can come up with many of your own recipes by putting the following in the SLOW COOKER:- this sauce (Yo Mama's)- soup broth (organic chicken, beef, etc.)- meats, sausages (sauteed/fried on the olive oil, lard, or ghee)- more spices (the sauce is already flavorful, but you should always add more: black pepper, salt, turmeric, fresh greens, etc.)- whole chopped onion and garlic (sauteed/fried on the olive oil, lard, or ghee)- beans, or souer kraut (aka "kapusta kiszona"), or whatever you fancy- carrots (to make things sweeter)- dry red wine (pinot noir)- forest mushrooms~ Buon appetito!

When I don't make my own sauce, I usually get one of the NYC "restaurant" brands which are great, but between $8-$10 a jar. There were lots of good reviews on Yo Mama's marinara so I gave it a try. I found the tomatoes weak and watery, with an overwhelming herbal taste, bitter, and a total lack of salt. Won't be buying it again. Really off flavors for me.

I read the reviews before making this purchase and I was excited to try it. It looked amazing and I could see the little bits of vegetables that were used. The taste was a bit mild but I expected that because of the sugar. The one things that I can not get over and was the smell. It reminded me of vomit. It was to the point I couldn't stomach it anymore.
