I've only had the opportunity to use the generator a couple of times but it does everything I could ask. This unit actually has enough power to run essentials for myself and my neighbor. He's got the snow thrower and I've got the generator.

Went together easily. Started after firs pull. Have not needed to run for an extended time. going to have a transfer switch installed for whole house use.

I put a meter on the outputs and ran different test loads. The generator voltage dip was minimal. Fast recovery. Pretty consistent voltage and current output. Very happy with this generator.

I bought the generator a couple of months ago to prepare for any power outage and haven't had to use it yet. It's great knowing we are prepared for an issue that WILL occur.

Living rural, having back up power sources are a must. It's an investment in the tools that helps forced, rustic living tolerable. Consider the top 3 best pieces of equipment and get learned about them. I know you will choose Generac also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look like it's pretty easy to maintain. The noise level isn't too bad. I will add a video later of that. It is heavy and once you get the wheels on in the handles, it makes it a whole lot easier to move around, but you still know you're moving something because it is heavy. It works very nice. I really can't say how it's going to hold up. I can update that later, but it looks like it's made very well and at any time you have any problems I don't know what's going on. It has a one 800 number for you to call and they will help you out and I love that. It has a five year warranty And that it runs off of propane ,natural gas or gasoline. And this is the perfect time for us to have a generator with the electric going on and off with all the storms and everything. I am so happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Central Florida, and unfortunately having a generator has become a necessity for the months of August-October. We've spent too many days post-storm without power, losing both groceries and our minds (from heat). With the hurricanes seemingly getting worse each year, we finally decided it's time to invest. We jumped on a Generac due to the reliable name brand and reputable quality. Needless to say, the recommendations received from family were good ones because we're seriously impressed with this thing, so much so that our neighbor saw it delivered and came over to also rave about the Generac brand. One of my favorite features is that this generator can take propane, gasoline, or natural gas. It's pretty strong and can power appliances, fans, cell phones (imperative), internet, and other small conveniences to keep children occupied. We also plan to invest in a window AC so that we can still have a bit of cold air in at least one room! Just having all of the necessities accessible makes a scary situation just a tad bit more tolerable. As with most generators, this one is HEAVY so be prepared with a plan for moving it prior to getting the wheels on (delivery slip said 275lbs!) We needed three adults to lift and move it, but the wheels definitely help once installed. All parts are heavy-duty, yet easy to operate, but just be aware that this is quite big and quite heavy. That's understandable with such a powerful unit. If you're in a hurricane prone area like me, this is one of those purchases that you hope you never need, but will be pleased when you do need it! It'll definitely make the post-storm recovery just a little bit easier.

No major loads put on it yet, but so far so good on this generator. Starts easy, not too loud. Nice that it came with a start up kit, wheels, and a handle which seems to be extras on other brands. Idle control when running with no load would be nice, but it wasn't a deal killer. I like the steel fuel tank and the quality of the fuel shot off valve. Went with the portable unit with manual transfer switch when the old standby failed. Will be nice to have it in the garage, out the elements, ready to go when when needed.

F...ing garbage. Do not buy. Runs rough if it starts. Worst generator I've ever had. I would say used but can't hardly use it. Bought new. Was garbage right out of the box. Should have returned. Spen up and get a Honda. This thing is junk

We bought a Generac brand new & it didn't work straight out of the box. We've had 2 service calls & they still can't figure it out. We're waiting on another part. Parts take forever to get & then you have to call & chevk bc they don't call you. Not happy at all!
