Poor wear life.

Wear out way too fast. 29K miles of careful use and they are at 4/32. They are quiet and handle well but the longevity is not up to michelin standards. I've run lots of michelins. 3 sets of LTX AT2 and MS on my truck and all have been great. Defender LTX on a couple of my cars also great. I run michelins on my bikes and they are great there too. This is my first disappointment with a michelin product. I see now that they don't even make my cars required size in this model of tire.

We're sorry to read that your tires are worn to 4/32 after 29k. Fortunately there is a mileage warranty on the tire. Your selling retailer should be able to initiate a warranty claim according to the warranty. One of our agents will be in touch to help get this handled.

Great tire but Terrible Tread Life

Same experience as many other reviews here. 27k miles on these tires on my 13 Audi Q7 and they are down to 4/32 tread depth already. I have only ever purchased Michelin tires and have always had great experiences with them. Not sure what happened with these but I may need to look into some other manufacturers in the future.

Terrible tread life

These were OEM on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. With easy driving the tires needed replacing at 18,000 miles. In the last 40 years I have never had tires wear out this fast! The tires have UTQG treadwear rating of 620 and I should have got at least 40,000 on these tires. Something isn't right with the UTQG rating on this tire as these tires wore more like a UTQG rating of 300. This is unfortunate as the other characteristics of the tire is very good.

Great Tires & 100% Happy

I am 100% satisfied with these tires as they currently have 55,000 miles on them with very even wear and will easily make it to 60,000 miles. I have these tires on a 2017 Lexus RX350 F Sport AWD and often drive in Sport+ Mode. I will note that the Tire Technicians at my local Sam's Club stated that "they are very surprised to see these numbers."

Short miles poor wear characteristics

Tires are quiet and handle well smooth as glass on the highway. Ice and snow performance are good. When new the performance was good. Now at 29K miles and they are worn to 4/32 and my tire shop says they are not safe to rebalance due to wear. These only start with 8.5/32 tread very shallow IMHO. Not a 60K mile tire in my experience. I've run michelins all my life, dozens of sets on trucks and cars and bicycles and this is my first bad experience with a tire. I've had three sets of LTX MS and ATs on my truck and they have all been great. Defender LTX on my Honda now and love them. The premier is expensive and short lived. 255/55R18 on Mercedes ML500.

Replacing tires at 15,000 miles

I have Premier LTX on my 2017 Acadia. I have been told they need to be replaced at 15,000 miles. These came with the car. One person who looked at them said they were peeling. I need to replace them but I don't know with what. I am afraid to buy Michelin. It would be nice if the company would do something. I'm 45000 short of the warranty.

Don't Do It!

these came on my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee thought I was getting good tires.. my Jeep currently has 33,000kms. I have had it for 2 winters and 1 summer, I have another set of tires on rims that I swap out every winter so maybe these summer tires have 15,000kms on them and they are toast! These are rated for 100,000 and we certainly are not getting that! Very disappointed I need to buy new tires already they certainly will not be Michelins!

Surprise feature not welcome

Bought these to replace same size tires from a 2nd string manufacturer. OEM tires had NOT been rotated and were SHOT at 35000 miles. Kumhos lasted nearly 40,000, were rotated regularly and would have gone longer except the tread was right at the wear bars and the rainy season was a month away. Now? to find out, the Michelin tire, which was supposed to be a 'premium' tire came with 8.5 32s of tread depth. Not 11/32 or even 10/32. 8.5 At a recent oil change the dealer informed me I had 7/32s remaining. Quite a shock considering I haven't even had the FIRST rotation yet. That's almost 30% of the useful tread in <5000 miles. Recommending such a High Dollar tire would be difficult for me. I rather doubt, based on first tread depth measure that this tire will last any better than the Other Guy which was 5/8 the price. I got better wear out of the Michelin tires on my S2000 which I Expected to go quickly given dedicated front / rear sizing and the nature of the beast.

Definite wear issue....

A quiet tire that rides well, but goodness, these things wear out quickly. 18k miles, and down to 3/32nds (though on wet roads, it feels like less!) To make matters worse, they are on my wife's car, and she definitely babies the car -- so it's definitely not due to aggressive driving.

I love Michelin, but...

The tires perform well in summer, not so much in winter snow. What brought me here is to read if others have the same issue as me. And yes indeed, the thread wear on this tire does not meet the documented KM rating. At 20,000KM from the rating, I need new tires and have pushed as far as I can go on these. First snowfall and if it wasn't for 4X4, I don't think I would get out of my street in the snow with what I have left for thread.
