I bought several of the Honeywell shop lights several years ago and they are still working great, so I decided to buy another one earlier last year. It started to flicker after a couple of months, and went totally dead with in 6 months. I did not have a receipt to return it, so like a complete fool, I bought another. Well that one lasted one day, and one of the lights went out. If you tapped on it the light would go back on, but after another day it quit all together. I returned it, and got my money back, went to another outlet and bought an other brand, and it had Been working great. Must be a bad run of the Honeywell lights.

I purchased six of these to replace the florescent ones in my garage. Within a year two of them went bad. Replaced with the same thing. Working so far. The last one I ordered had a damaged box and no chains or s-hooks. It's working for now and I had hardware to hang it. When working they give off nice light. They are light weight and easy to hang.

I have purchased three of these Honeywell lights at Sam's and all three have failed. First they show a flicker, light up with a very dim connection, then come on bright. When they are working, it is a perfect light, but within a year the first one failed completely. Tap on the wired end and it would flicker on momentarily then go very dim or not come on at all. Very frustrating. The first one did not fail until I had purchased two other lights at Sam's Club. Then the first purchased completely failed. The electrical board is very poorly made, because I opened the end of the first-purchased unit and would tap on the plastic end piece and watch the flicker from a poor solder connection (not an electrician but recognize shoddy assembly and cheap electronics). Sam's will not support the 5-year warranty return request of these items after 90 days, and Honeywell does not respond appropriately.

Light weight, very bright, pullchain is a nice option though I did not use it because I connected to existing switched ceiling outlets. Work just fine in unheated space. I have been applying these gradually over several years and no failures so far, touch wood. This sale was a great value.

3 of 7 of these LEDs are already not working; if I wanted this kind of performance I would have kept the fluorescent tubes in my garage. Warranty is worthless, customer service is horrible and the claimed life of 50,000 hours is a joke. They should get a new supplier for their LEDs as these should not die so quickly. Honeywell needs to improve their quality, these are cheap lights that don't last, stay away.

I purchased these for my garage, then workshop, then laundry areas of my home. They were nice and bright BUT after less than a year, they started to fail. They flicker then fail completely. Seems to be some type of loose connection or poor wiring that does not hold up. I will not purchase anymore!

Bought two of these today and hung them. Nice and bright, then I noticed that on one bulb in each unit ,a section was out. So can not get all the bulbs to burn. Guess they will come back down tomorrow and head back to Sams. Guess I will get new ones at Lowe's

I purchased 16 of these lights for use in my basement about 3 years ago and an additional 5 replacements since that time. The lights look very nice and bright except for one problem. THEY DO NOT LAST. Just had the sixth failure happen last week. The LED drivers are very poor quality. The failure mode is always the same. The light warms up and begins a fast strobing on and off probably due to bad capacitors. This will quickly give you a headache. I am an electrical engineer and tried to take one apart to fix it but they are sealed in potting. Contacted customer support, but I do not have the receipt from Sam's Club and I threw the earlier failed units in the trash. I am contemplating throwing the all lights away at this point because they use a custom three pin connector for chaining the lights which is not compatible with any thing else including the new models of the same light. Very disappointed in this product. Usually do not write bad reviews but I spent a significant amount of money and time mounting these light. I thought Honeywell was better that this.......

I have bought 8 of these. They are about 6-8 months old. 3 of them have gone bad. They started flickering on and off at first then just stopped working. It says 5 year warranty. I have been contacting Honeywell for the past 4 month with no reply. Calls and Emails They do look great and light very well when they are working.

Bought these in late April for overhead kitchen lighting. Installed early May and they were great. Lots of bright light. Then about 2 months ago, 1 of them went out. Have been looking for something to replace them, and today the 2nd one went out. Based on the comments here, I am not even going to attempt a warranty claim. Just cut my losses and warn others.
