Traction Lacking

Super quiet on pavement and great handling. But get them in mud or snow and it's a different story. Really disappointed in Michelin's claims about traction. Probably the worst snow traction I've ever experienced, especially in a premium tire. I run them on a 4x4 pickup and at times all wheels engaged is not enough to navigate some normal Seattle streets. Spent two hours last week digging out from some soft, wet ground they failed to drive thru. Swapping them out for a competitor's true M/S tire.

I'm a Michelin Girl!!

This is my 3rd or 4th set of Michelins! I love them! This is the first time purchasing this model...but they are great. I'm a single mom of 2 girls....I do my research before I make a big purchase or invest my hard-earned money on anything....these tires provide a lot of bang for the buck!! I own a Nissan Xterra, and I do a lot of highway traveling as well as some off-road driving. These tires feel great on the highway, handling the road very well....and they feel great off road, handling the crazy deep sand along the lake on our weekend camping trips. The last set of Michelins on this vehicle were more of a "highway" tire, but even though these tires are more "aggressive", I haven't noticed a change in my gas mileage...but do have an easier time getting to some of our more remote favorite spots! It's great having tires on my vehicle that I can trust to carry my girls and me to wherever our next adventure leads us!!

One Tough Tire

I just returned from two weeks in the "outback" of Humboldt county California. I drove my Sequoia 4X4 without reservations on roads only sheep and cattle would go. On the return trip home, I then drove at freeway speeds without any issues what so ever. This Michelin has proven to be one of the best tires I've ever had on a vehicle, for both off road comfort and safety, and freeway endurance. Highly recommended, especially for the price. Ready to cross rivers now! Sincerely, riversongwriter.

Expected More

Replaced a set of 4 Michellin Lattitude Tour HP after only 42,750 miles. Got down to 3/32 on all after 2 years and 6 months of owning them. Was hoping to get closer to 50,000 since they are rated for 55,000 miles. I also noticed my fuel economy had gone down a bit when I switched to these. If I could say something positive about these tires is that they are quiet and the ride was smooth.

97,000 and Still Going

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually 4x4, Rotated regularly, just looked up the milage since it seemed like it had been awhile and at 97,250 miles the tread is just now starting to get down to the wear bars. Highway miles mostly as I would not want to test the mud traction on this heavy beast, but rain and snow have been fantastic. Will definitely buy Michelin again.

Love my tires

I just replaced my LTX A/T2 tires on my 2013 Ram Hemi..They had 56,000 miles all highway and distance driving with several months of our NY North Country winter driving too.. Always Michelins A/T for my trucks and I love them. The set I replaced still had plenty of tread, but because of the winter months coming and driving at times throught the Mountains I just wanted to have new tires. I think the reason my old tires are till good is the care I gave them--rotating on schedules and not off roading except a few dirt roads and watching my driving...They have never failed me pulling my horse trailer or in the winter snows or even on ice.

This is the best A/T type ...

This is the best A/T type tire that I've seen! Based on the current mileage on these tires (about 30,000) it looks like they will easily make it to 70 or 80k. About the only thing I can say negative is they are only about average on ice. Otherwise very good!

Traction counts

I purchased Michelin LTXA/T2 tires to replace the factory tires on my Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel . I could never trust the original equipment tires as they would loose traction on wet roads , in turns and at starting on on ramps merging in traffic.. I have had no issues with the Michlelins they are great and give you that confidence on wet or dry roads.

Premature Wear

The tire is wearing prematurely on a 2020 GMC 3500HD/diesel crew cab long box with only 11,700km on the odometer. The new spare has 13/32” tread depth, while the RR 8/32”, LR 7/32”, RF 9.6/32”, LF 9.3/32”. The rears are worn nearly 50% already. There is about 1,500km of towing on pavement on the tires, the rest is all pavement; with about 300km of off-roading. I anticipate complete replacement at 20,000km~25,000km; therefore this is not a 100,000km tire. The tread depth new of 13/32” is also less than the website specs of 14.5/32”. The tire is quiet, rides nice, handles well, but won’t last.

longest lasting truck tire ever

I've used the Michelin LTX A/T tires on 3 high mileage 4x4 pickups all getting over 120000 miles before replacing. These tires are great all around tires, I've used them to pull trailers, in heavy mud and put a lot of miles on them. In 2010 I replaced the factory tires in a 2009 GMC Z71 which had 64000 miles on them. In 2013 I purchased a new Chevy Z71 which came from the factory with some small plan looking tires, so I replaced the factory tires with my old A/T2's from the trade in GMC. I currently have over 155000 miles on these tires, I'm starting to think I should replace them just because of the mileage. But looking at these tires you would not think they need replaced. All I can say is if you keep these tire rotated and balanced, you will not be disappointed in you purchase.
