Good Tire all around except in Mudd

Great all around tire. I hunt hard in the mountains. Great on dirt roads, also climb rocky and ruugged hills really good, also good in the snow. I haven't gotten any flats so far. Not evne on some of the rockiest roads you can imagine. Thr rocks cut up the tread but the tires is still holding togeter well. The only down fall is the tire doesn't perform well in mudd that cakes to the tires. Other than that the tire performs really well.

Hands down best tires

Bought these to replace the original Bridgestone tires on our 2018 Toyota Landcruiser Prado TXL here in Cameroon, Central Africa. I drive deep in the bush to reach remote villages and we got stuck a few times with the originals. With these LTX A/2’s, I have no problem going wherever I need to go! Thank you Michelin for making such a high quality tire available to me for a reasonable price. It was worth every penny (well franc here)!

It's mental comfort, ...

It's mental comfort, which my LTX A/T provide me when my son is heading up the pass in the SUV for a day of skiing. That makes me plan to eventually replace them with the LTX A/T2. They've kept him on the road while the shoulders are cluttered with less fortunate vehicles equipt with inferior tires.

Awesome all around tires

I loved these tires from the moment I first drove the vehicle after installation. I was looking for quiet and comfort. Got it. When the first rains came I was looking for traction. Got it. When the first ice and snow came I was looking for cold weather traction (different from just rain). Got it. I did my research and I'm glad. There has never been a tire that I have been more pleased with.

Not suitable for SNOW!

Do not buy these tires for use in snow! I love Michelin tires, they are by far my favorite tire manufacturer. But calling these tires M/S for mud and snow is very misleading. I have less than 2000 miles on these tires and live in mid Michigan. We've just had a significant snow fall and these tires are horrible. I've had to add 400lbs. to the back of my truck, and even that didn't make a noticeable difference. Thankfully I have a 4X4.

Horrible wear

I have 19,200 miles on my 17 Silverado 2500 HD. These are standard OE equipment, regular rotation. Bought new tires as these are pretty much unserviceable at this point. Got stuck on a small patch of packed snow in the tire dealers parking lot last week before installing new tires. Very disappointed for a premium tire.

Would buy these again

Bought these to replace the LTX M/S tires on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I tow a 3,500#+ trailer on a regular basis and wanted something with a higher load rating. These have done the job. A little firmer ride and great handling. Great traction when it is wet. Little bit of humming due to the more agressive tread but not too bad. Only have 8,000 miles on them but would not change a thing.

I recentley purchased ...

I recentley purchased these tires and do not have a any relevent information. I have always attempted to purchase the best tires, recommended by the dealer, and purchased Michelins due to friends and dealership recommendations. So far ( 500 miles) they (Michelin's) have proved excellent!

I love this tire

I've had two sets of these on my 2012 GMC 2500HD which weighed about 7800lbs on my scale. I got around 40k miles out of the first set with a lot of towing of my 14k lb 5th wheel. Most of my driving other than that was in town short trips. I like this tire in the snow and ice it seems to grab well. They are extremely quiet. We run them on a few of the other trucks at work with good results too. The only thing I wish is that they made them in a taller size and just a little wider. I have the 285/65R18 size right now.

Quiet and comfort

Replaced factory Firestones at 27600 with LTX A/T2 same size. So glad to have new shoes, these Michelins are the bomb. Made in USA stamped on each tire! Have had other Michelin both car and light truck tires get plus 80,000 miles. Regular rotate and alignment, maintain good air and I expect to see that out of theses. So far just riding down the highway they are nice and quiet. Watching gas mileage! Hope to sample them pulling boat and RV soon.
